Casa Po0

We loved everything about Casa Po. It was in the best location for us to easily reach the Albacin area via steps and then more of the central area by foot too. Our hosts were very helpful with information on the best places to visit in Granada. We upgraded to a larger room with terrace just a few days before which we were so glad that we did as it was very light and airy. Air-con was greatly appreciated since it was 40° in the city! The bed was comfortable, shower worked well, and there was lots of space to fully enjoy our stay.

Unfortunately the refrigerator in our room didn’t work, and the one in the kitchen didn’t seem to be chilling any of our drinks either, but not a problem. Also couldn’t find an ironing board.

The place is nicely decorated and is a little apartment in itself. We liked that we have our own bathroom and mini kitchen space. The host is very friendly and made sure we knew all information we needed.

The floor in the bedroom area was dirty. Our feet easily became black just walking around the room. The tap in the bathroom sink was positioned really unconventionally due to the space restrictions and this made washing up tricky, as water would usually drip all over the floor due to the bad position. The showerhead was positioned too high (it was impossible to adjust lower), luckily I managed to reach it but a shorter person on average would have not been able to reach the shower head at all.

The property is located in the old town of Granada - a bit of a steep climb up from the main road especially if you have heavy bags. However, it’s close to all the main tapas bars and restaurants as well as about a short walk away from Plaza Nueva. It’s a lovely place to stay if you want to stay in a quiet neighbourhood in old Granada but still want to be close to all the main stops. We opted for the room with the small terrace and it was large and lovely! Sit and enjoy the morning sun with coffee or the evening sunset with a glass of vino. A special mention to Paul, who welcomed us to the property and marked out some great places to explore on a map for us!

Very nice and cozy apartment close to city center. It is equipped with all you need when on holidays. You can use a kitchen downstairs, with dishwasher, cooker, microwave etc. Room is spacious, comfortable and clean. You could notice that this place is well taken care of. The owner spent some time with us at the beginning, gave a city map, advised on most interesting places to see and where to eat - that was really awesome :) Thank you! We would definitely recommend this place for a short stay in Granada :)

You can't reach the location by car. It is important to know that you can get there only on foot, using high stairs. It was not a problem for us, but people with disabilities or poor health condition could have problems getting there. Especially when you need to drag you luggage up the hill. Apart from that it was excellent :)

The room was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. It was not so easy to find but once there the location was great, in the middle of the Albaicin without being too high up. The room was spacious and we loved the little terrace. The bathroom was very good and comfortable, the bed excellent, the kitchen very good, and all very clean. The host was attentive and responsive, easy to find over the phone when we needed him. Highly recommended.

Fantastic terrace.. nice comfy bed and beautifully designed room, very spacious and and lovely bathroom. Quiet at night and in the morning. Great, helpful staff Would definitely go back.

Difficult to access with a lot of luggage - no car access and cobblestoned streets. Shared kitchen, not private as per ad, but not a huge problem. Took a while for AC to cool room down as was on the top floor so got direct sunlight all day.

Edu was amazing, he welcomed us and provided us all the necessary information for our staying in Granada. He suggested lots of things to do there and if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have known all these great tips! The property is lovely, the location is great and everything was well provided.

The bathroom was a bit narrow, but still it was great!

Great, spacious and stylish appartment in historic Moorish district, equiped with everything we needed. The place was quiet. When we arrived the heating was already on (April - the previous couple of days were chilly). Close to Alhambra, very close to the spot with the best view on Alhambra (Mirador de San Nicolas), close to the Cathedral. The owner gives you all the tips (parking, where to go, etc.) you may need and speaks English which is not common in Spain. Very nice guy.

Everything was great.

Paul our host, was not present when we arrived but made sure to communicate everything in great details, sending us videos and messages to facilitate our arrival and stay. Room was big, clean and quiet, beds are comfy. A booklet is offered to us in the room, with great local recommendations, including a lovely breakfast place (Perspectives a few meters away from the pension).

Nothing to declare.

We did like that our host Paul took time to explain directions for objectives in Granada on a map that he provided for us. The room was very big and nice decorated. The bathroom was clean and had hot water.
