The hotel was located in a quiet village, opposite a church and small park. Parking was available directly outside and opposite the hotel.
We had planned to take the excellent breakfast but the breakfast area was not open at the time stated and we had a long onward journey to take. Unfortunately our Spanish is not good and only one member of staff could speak English

buffet dinner for 12 euro with wine. buffet breakfast for 5 euro. reception staff very polite.
the ashtrays at the entry were overflowing and not emptied during our stay, and there were butts in the entry which had not been removed.

Location OK as nearest to Guadalajara on return journey from Pyrenees to Malaga.
1. Very slow check-ion albeit receptionist very friendly and helpful; must seemed that paperwork not properly organised. 2. As a hotel not requiring food would have been lovely but evening meal proved a disaster. Other than receptionist mentioned above, other staff seemed out of their depth and no understanding of what was required or good manners. etc. Then no understanding of food ordered or how to actually calculate cost; e.g. menu quoted 10% gratuity charge and tried to charge 20%, had not made a note of drinks already paid for, tried to charge for a more expensive wine than taken even though bottles were still on table. BUT NOTE THAT TWO OF PARTY WERE SPANISH, TWO OTHERS SPOKE EXCELLENT SPANISH AND THE REMAINING FOUR WERE LONG-TERM RESIDENTS WITH MORE THAN PASSABLE SPANISH - BUT EMPLOYEES WERE NOT SPANISH!!!!

The first room had no wifi and the air conditioning blew only cold air. In the second room the bidet did not work. Breakfast was not good.
