Gran Hotel Flamingo-Adults Only

We liked the hotel very much because of almost everything: people, who work there, incredible breakfast, location, facilities. The employees at the reception and a restaurant are very kind, highly supporting and spread positive energy all time. The room was very comfortable and quiet in spite the hotel is located in the middle of the noisy street. It was very clean and had an extremely comfortable bed. Honestly, it was the best bed at the hotel which I have ever experienced. The bathroom is simply outstanding. The rooftop area with the swimming pool lets you relax after sightseeing day. If you want to swim in the sea, it takes just 5 minutes to get to the beach. I would recommend using buses to go to Barcelona and purchase a ticket the day before.  It took us 3 minutes to get to the Bus station.  In this case you will skip the traffic jams and the headache with the parking. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Lack of the hotel's parking. There are some solutions which we used. There is an underground parking just across the hotel but it is quite expensive. There are parking areas in 5 min walking from the hotel but it is very difficult to find a place. Please, keep in mind to reserve extra money to keep your car in the parking lot.

Our room was nice and spacious but we was told to go to the sister hotel next door for breakfast the Flamingo seemed to be catering for groups of Spanish hol makers. The breakfast at the Delamar was nice though.

There was no entertainment so once again we went to the sister hotel next door there was a good DJ on but all the entertainment finished at 11pm said it was so people could sleep. You couldn’t hear anything once you a few steps from the bar area 11pm is to early to finish on holidays very disappointing. The roof top area was nice but the two swimming pools very shallow almost impossible to swim in more like plunge pools than swimming pools.

Just returned from an exceptional stay at Gran Hotel Flamingo. After reading some conflicting reviews we made sure to book a superior room to guarantee access to the rooftop pool and bar and to have the benefit of soundproofing as the hotel is located right on the strip. The rooftop experience was amazing, always lots of sun beds available, great food and drinks and relaxing chill out zone. The rooms were big, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and could not hear a peep from the hustle and bustle of the strip. The staff were very friendly and welcoming too.

This was a wonderful hotel, breakfast was amazing, the facilities were amazing. The gym was a work of art. The beds were lovely the rooms not huge but well fitted out. You must pay the small upgrade to use the pool and bars at the top as they made the holiday. There is a bus station not far from the hotel, you can get to Barcelona in an hour for 10euros. We went to Tossa De Mar for a day it was beautiful.

The location was a poor mans vegas on sea. The Beach is great and there are some lovely walks but the hotel is a sanctuary among a massive teen/young persons permanent stag/hen do. That said, the hotel is sound proofed and you would never know that was happening outside. The area if you step off the strip is lovely, some decent restaurants and in fact the snack bar at the entrance to the hotel is very good. We were only there a few nights but we loved it overall.

#1 thing we liked was the location - couldn’t be better👍 staff was charming and always helpful! special thanks to the kitchen crew for the delicious food they were preparing for the breakfast every day!

There was just a couple of disappointing details. Anyway, details always matter:) First of all, we were truly surprised that the bottled drinking water wasn’t supplied to the room on a daily basis (we received it only once after check-in) although water seems to be an essential thing in the service on resorts. Secondly, the room service could’ve been better - during our almost 10-days stay the bedding has been changed only once (despite we were leaving tips for housekeepers). Not sure if that’s ok. Lastly, we had an impression that some tiny utilities such as shoehorns, bathrobes could’ve make the stay more comfy. Hope that the hotel will consider this for improvement:)

We booked a deluxe room with the access to the rooftop pool. Location was good. A lot of restaurants and cafes near the hotel. It is also 5 min walk to the beach. The room was clean, with airconditioner and a balcony. There’s everything you could possibly need. The breakfast and dinner were also very good. You have a variety of many options to choose.

There are clubs near the hotel, so it was not possible to open the window during the night because of the noise.

The hotel was lovely. We stayed in a superior room so had access to the rooftop pool - its well worth the extra money if you're staying and our room was lovely big and modern. The breakfast had lots of variety and there was gluten free bread and crossaints (just ask staff). The staff were very friendly, particularly Francisco in the hotel bar he was so friendly and his service was excellent. Would definitely recommend it

The wifi wasn't great. There are some nightclubs across the road which may bother some but the doors are pretty sound proof so it didn't bother us at all.

Hotel was smart and clean..roof terrace was absolute bonus and well worth the extra..always a free sunbed ..Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble..Soundproofing was excellent and actually made a difference to the holiday(never knew it was a must until now lol).Location was perfect everything we required was right at hand..breakfast amazing plenty of choice and always fresh..Will defintely be back 😊

The only improvement i would have is if there was changing facilities close to the baggage area just so u could freshen up before flight or if u have arrived too early for check in.

Hotel Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Room was imacutely clean and we had a great view from the balcony. Particarly liked the Roof top Pool and facilities. The hotel was located close to the Beach and all major attractions. Would definately reccomend it as a place to stay and will be back to stay again.

That we only booked 7 nights instead of Ten.

Beautiful hotel, great breakfast, great positioning, nice and clean rooms.

Access to the rooftop is unnecessarily complicated: room card to use the elevator, access card for the rooftop and annoying bracelet so that the personnel can be sure that you are supposed to be there. Not a lot of sitting spots on the rooftop, finding a pool seat in the shade almost impossible because there are people also form the neighbour hotel who come and sit there.
