Hotel Eliseos

Perfect location. Between centre and sea. Great room with balcony and stunning view from top floor. Very nice staff. Kept our luggage as we had late evening flight. Welcome drink of Malaga sweet wine compliments of the hotel when we returned home at night.

Everything great. Didn't know in advance that pool wasn't open. But we used the beach anyway

Good location near to the centre of the city, beach and port. We were given a room with balcony, it was quiet despite the hotel being just behind a busy road. We had the breakfast which we thought was good value with a nice breakfast room off the front courtyard. The roof terrace with small pool has a great view across to the port. The hotel was basic but clean and we thought it was good value overall.

The pool area and roof terrace has minimal shade and is very hot in summer, it could be improved by adding more shade such as parasols where the sunbeds are.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Miguel was very friendly, kind and helpful. Thank you Miguel :) Stayed in a double room - February 2024. The room was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Hot air conditioning worked fine. The bathroom was also clean, 24 hours hot water shower. Nice and quiet neighbourhood, no disturbing noises from outside. Easy to find the hotel, is just off the main road with bus stops nearby. Can take the number 3 bus to the main train station. Location was excellent – nearby to the hotel are: - Restaurants and cafes, Halal restaurants – use Google maps. - Beach, harbour, park. - Alcazaba and Castle are a walk up. - 15 mins walk to two different ends of the main/historic city centre - either via the park and main road along the harbour front, or through/above the tunnel. Overall our stay was very pleasant, nothing to complain about, a nice and clean hotel - would definitely stay here again. Good value for money.

Rooftop pool and patio was a great feature. Location is a pro and a con - it’s about halfway between the city centre and the beach but not super close to either. About a 15-20 minute walk to get to either. However, buses are pretty easy to use and so are e-scooters/bikes which are available not far from the hotel. Rooms were as expected. I found the closet and desk nice additions that were helpful for storage. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast is fair.

Location - as mentioned above there’s always a bit of a walk/transit to get to things, but not too long

The location was excellent bus stop out side beach just across the road a 5 minute walk to the old town the hotel was clean and the rooms were cleaned every day the shower was excellent there was also a big wardrobe in the room dressing table and a fridge and a small safe the staff were very friendly the roof top pool was a bonus we went there a few times

One small thing we went to the roof top pool a few times one of the times we went there was a group of 10 adult men in the pool drinking shouting spraying there sun tan lotion all in the pool It did make you feel quite intimidated as you could not get in the pool at all I did mention it to the member of staff on the front desk and he did say he would go up and have a word with them

Everything was excellent at this well located hotel. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Room was large. Had AC and a fridge. Room cleaned daily. Parking available. Couldn’t want for more and good value.

A few more sun loungers on the roof sun terrace may be helpful as difficult to get one during our stay. Also the light over door in room (think it may have been an emergency exit light?) was on continuously and made the room a little bright at night. But to be honest have to look hard for things I didn’t like as hotel was overall excellent and would recommend.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Malaga, and I must say that overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel's prime location, just a stone's throw away from Malageta Beach and within walking distance to the city center, was undoubtedly one of its standout features. The cleanliness of the hotel was another aspect that left a positive impression on me. The rooms were spotless, and the common areas were well-maintained. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring that the hotel maintained high hygiene standards throughout my stay.

However, there was one downside to our otherwise enjoyable stay – the lack of a balcony. It was disappointing to discover that only half of the rooms at the hotel had balconies, and ours happened to be in the half without. We missed having a private space where we could hang our swimsuits to dry. Perhaps this issue could be resolved with clearer room descriptions when booking to manage guests' expectations better. That said, we opted for a quieter wing of the hotel, which might explain the absence of balconies. It's possible that the other wing with balconies may have been noisier, so it's a trade-off to consider.

The hotel was in a fantastic position, close to the beach and port, and easy walking distance to the old town, with a massive choice of bars and restaurants, shopping opportunities, historical sites, galleries and museums. the hotel although is a little dated was clean comfortable and quite at night, we had a nice balcony with views of the bull ring with sea glimpses and the mountains in the distance, good working air conditioning, and a nice outdoor seating area with a small pool on the top floor, all staff were pleasant and polite and great communication via email with any questions we had before our stay, and very helpful providing a kettle was asked if we could borrow. breakfast could be paid for daily at a cost of I think 7 euros, we would definitely stay again.

Almost everything - it was a lot more than I expected. Excellent location, close to the beach, close to the famous sights, close to restaurants and pubs and close to the entertainment district - everything with in 5 to 15 minute walk - and yet quiet day an night.. Very nice, helpful staff. Clean rooms, daily room cleaning. Excellent, rich breakfast. Roof terrace. I would come back.

The bathroom is too small, the shower is not really confortable if you are not thin. There is no bar for the evenings with possibility to drink anything (beer, juice, etc.).

Superb ,quiet hotel off the busy rd Paseo Reding opp The Bullring ,now an exhibition concert venue .A short stroll to the immaculate paved Port area ,great designer shops/huge choice of restaurants/souvenir market and burger joints.Also 10 mins stroll from a splendid beach and huge choice of restaurants on La Malagueta beach.Simple but comfortable rooms, cleaned immaculately by friendly staff .Excellent breakfast self service selection .Roof pool a wonderful bonus.Comfy sun loungers.Cannot praise all the staff enough ,we stayed on extra days .And would return every time we visit the incredible city of Malaga which offers something for every age group.
