Hotel Monarque El Rodeo

The location was excellent, very central, near the beach and the terrace was a bonus.The rooms were large and the bed comfortable. Tasty choices for breakfast and dinner. The hotel directory was useful and is not generally found in Spanish hotels.

I thought it was good value for the price and there was nothing to complain about.

Everything about the hotel was very good. We had a family room which was a very good size with a balcony and large bathroom. All the beds were very comfy and the air con was good. The only annoyances with the room were that it was above the kitchens and the fans were quite noisy, and that the combination of trees outside and the rain meant it was mosquito heaven. We used the pool and sundeck a few times and whilst the pool isn't big the kids had fun and cooled off. We had breakfast and dinner included. The breakfast had lots of variety, cooked food, fruit, pastries, cereal. And for dinner there was something for everyone, all was perfectly fine but was a little hit or miss. The fried fish was always great as is the russian salad. The reception, waiting and cleaning staff were all fantastic. The location is also very good and even on the 1st floor there was little noise from outside. We would definitely stay here again and found it incredibly good value.

Would've been nice to have a coffee/ tea making facilities in the room. Our room was above the kitchen and the fans were quite noisy when on.

The old town and the beach are only a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Super clean room and comfortable bed. The rooftop with pool and sunbeds is lovely. After check-out, we spent our time there as offered by the reception. Breakfast is sufficient and tasty.

We reserved a shuttle service from the airport, but the person didn't come. Our back way to the airport was also organized by the hotel, but for a different day than we asked. Eventually, we were able to get a shuttle for the desired day, and our driver was polite and nice, proactively gave us many important details about the area.

Everything really , my third time staying there . I thought the everything up top, poolside, was smarter , tidier and cleaner than previous. The rooms were great , loads of space,clean , and the staff were excellent. They were very friendly , efficient and helpful. Lovely people ,a credit to both the hotel and themselves.

I would have only one crib , that though the food was varied and sometimes a bit different for me , it was great with one problem though, it was never really hot . I found both the breakfast and the dinner buffets both too cold for my liking. I would suggest that the food heating thermostats should be turned up a bit or a couple of microwaves should be available.

Perfect location, good breakfast, spacious rooms, nice staff, close to old town, perfect beach and gorgeous park. Fair price, good service, we like and definitelly came back again after short round trip for few more nights. Thanks for nice holiday.

little bit noisy from the street (especially in lower floor, eastern side rooms). No parking, but it is Marbella, so I think parking always issue and costly. We find very good solution 7 min walk, just little bit up, close to old town, free parking, address: Av. Dr. Maíz Viñals, 25, 29601 Marbella. (only one guy is “helping” to park, so we were giving him few euro coins each time we park and always get some place for a car.

The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful and made a real effort to communicate. The cleaning staff were also very friendly.

Breakfast was nice but the staff were far too quick to remove everything. They did not really make any effort to communicate with paying guests. Main method of communication was through pointing. We did not feel valued arriving for breakfast each morning. With very little effort on the breakfast staffs behalf our experience would have been excellent.

Location was excellent if you want to be near the Old Town, shops and harbour/marina nightlife. A two minute walk brought us to all of these. The room was a good size, I booked a single room and there were twin beds with plenty of wardrobe space and a balcony.

The bathroom was a bit dated and the breakfast was mediocre. I struggled a bit but everyone else appeared to be loading their plates!

A FAIRLY QUIET ROAD LESS THAN 5 MINS FROM THE BEACH AND EVEN LESS TO OLD TOWN, WHICH IS FAB FOR A 74 YEAR OLD LONE TRAVELLER. SIMPLE BUT VERY COMFORTABLE ROOM WITH BATH AND ALL TRIMMINGS. PLENTY OF CHOICE FOR BREAKFAST, BACON AND SAUSAGES NOT OF THE BEST QUALITY MEAT, BUT TREMENDOUS VALUE OR MONEY. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR VERY FAIRLY PRICED ACCOMMODATION, AND MORE SPANISH THAN THOSE ON THE SEA FRONT.

NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER. I CAN ONLY SPEAK VERY HIGHLY OF IT.

Amazing location in the heart of Marbella town centre with friendly, helpful staff. The rooftop pool area was perfect for my requirements – great views and lots of loungers. The buffet was very reasonable for the price (15 euros) and the wine was a bargain at 2.50 euros for a small carafe. I had a great stay, the only suggestion I would make is they should consider opening the rooftop pool bar, as it would be good to be able to buy drinks and ice cream in the heat.

Location was great. Staff were super nice. Hotel was immaculate. Room was large and balcony was terrific. Just saw a bit of the beach but nice for evening drinks Walk to the beach was just a few blocks. Easy to go to pharmacy or catch a tour. Victor and reception staff helped arrange for early taxi and even opened dining room at 6 am so I could eat something. On the beach try "Rib Shack Marbell" Great smoked ribs and great staff"

Food in the dining lacked a variety vegitarian dishes and healthy salad options. Coffee , fruits and desserts were good.
