Barceló Ourense

Situated one end of the central area, it was easy to get to and park. Walking through to the old town took only a few minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel had a well equipped gym and sauna that were free to use. All the public areas were well presented, and the breakfast was first class. The room was very large with excellent, powerful shower.

Some of the fixtures around the spa bath and sink are not of sufficient quality and are beginning to break down. Some of the paint is blistering, and some of the laminate flooring is beginning to peel at the edges, and a couple of the lights didn't work. It's not quite bad enough to complain about yet, but it won't be too long.

The property was very nice and modern, and close to the downtown area. Spacious room with a beautiful view from the 8th floor. The bed was so comfortable, a great night sleep!

The distribution of our room was a bit odd with a long hallway and the bathroom was very close to the side of the bed and hardly any closet. The light switches were very confusing, too many of them, and you couldn’t tell which was for which set of lights. (Hard with a sleeping baby)!

The hotel is very well located so almost everything including best reataurants and even the Termas are just a short walk away. Staff was incredible friendly.It was my birthday and I guess they likely figure that out through my passport.Next thing I know is that they came to my room with a small cake and a candle .Priceless

The hotel is in a great location in the centre of the city between the old city and the roman bridge. There is an public underground car park next to the hotel. The room was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of hot and cold food and beverages.

Room service only starts at 20:30. No alternative in the hotel to get food before. I wanted some drinks for the room and I had to go down to the bar to get them. Breakfast room a bit depressing.

The breakfast was amazing, lots of choice. Fresh fruit, fresh pastries and fresh orange juice! Location of the hotel was brilliant. It was just a short walk to the Cathedral and all the restaurants. Lots to do in ourense, particularly good were the thermal pools.

The light system in the room was very fussy!

The room was spacious, modern, and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, COVID measures were followed, and there were plenty of hand sanitizers throughout the hotel. The location is fantastic. It's easy to get to the hotel via car, and there's plenty of parking in their garage (15 euros a night - can't reserve beforehand, though). The hotel is just steps away from the historic center of Ourense.

The room was too hot, and even after calling the concierge and getting help setting the air to the minimum setting, we still had trouble sleeping due to the heat.

Lovely hotel, central to the city, the buffet breakfast Was plentiful. Our room was a spa bath, the room was lovely and spacious and very clean. We will be booking this hotel again. Thankyou for a very pleasant stay.

Nothing we didn't like.

The room was perfect. The bed is comfortable, the breakfast was great, the dinner from the room service was delicious and for a fair price.

The staff from the breakfast was a little unfriendly and which cause a bad impression

the location is perfect. The rooms are huge. The shower is very nice. the TV set is big (50inch approx). The parking is very convenient.

There was some incident affecting hot water one day.
