Hotel Gran Regente

Lovely views, friendly staff. Large room with a bath tub and a beautiful French balcony! The location is convenient for sightseeing and going out for dinner/drinks, but it is also not too far from the modern center of town.

The noise. Some of it is perhaps unavoidable, such as the neighbours' (extremely noisy) shower, or the street noise at night, (perhaps the window didn't close well?) but besides, every morning the cleaning staff talk loudly in the corridor for a very long time (on the phone?) and you can hear every word in your room, loud and clear...I wish the staff kept this in mind (not great when you're exhausted from traveling). More glasses would be welcome besides the 2 in the bathroom (water glasses, wine glasses, mugs)

This hotel is well located in Oviedo. It's a short walk into town and close to the old town. 15-20 min walk to the main bus station, 5 mins to the local supermarket. The room was great, bigger than expected, easy to access with elevator, very clean and warm (we went in Feb). We had one breakfast which was great and decided to eat out with my daughter on other days but it was nice to have the option. What I was most impressed with was the friendliness of staff and I would definitely stay here again. Good Wifi reception

I would have appreciated a courtesy tray so we could make a drink in our rooms in the evening And the TV was for radio only so a little disappointing in terms of not being able to watch a streaming service in the evening. But these were little things and didn't affect our impression of the stay. Overall we loved it, thank you

Very well situated between the old and new parts of the city, the Gran Regente offers comforotable accomodation in the heart of Oviedo. The room had a small fridge and a good table/ desk, was clean and comfortable, if a little lacking in style/ character. The staff were friendly and helpful but, overall, this has the feel of a conference, rather than a holiday hotel.

We are two cyclists on a ride from Cadiz to San Sebastian. Our needs are simple we seek a clean bed and a hot shower – the hotel provided both Reception was welcoming and helpful – we lost some language and reception helped us find it The location was outstanding on the edge of the historical centre - the rate at the end of the week and into Sunday was very good

The parking. It was not possible to make a reservation and the parking is very small. Also the first time very difficult to find the entry. It's in the hotel back side and not very nice. A bit expensif...

The location, walking distance to everywhere and the hotel has a parking. My room had a splendid view.

The bathroom could use an update. E.g. the hairdryer lacks power and it felt a bit outdated. The breakfast is not out of this world either.

Spacious room and big bath although it didn't d rain properly so I Was restricted to a shower. Expensive

There is only one socket in the room and that is under the bedside ledge on one side of the bed. The desk is too far from that socket to be able to plug a laptop in which necessitated moving a small table across the room. Lighting was very poor and meant I was unable to read once daylight was insufficient.

The location is perfect, and the room is spacious. The bed is comfortable! And it is really quite. A good place to stay.

The refrige is a little bit smelly.

Very good central location for the old town and going out. Parking available and accessible from the hotel Room very clean, nothing to fault with the stay.

we messed up the reservation and arrived an entire day late (whoops). unfortunately the hotel was fully booked, not only did they accommodate us that evening but they gave us a free upgrade!
