Hotel Doña María

Location was fantastic, literally just opposite the cathedral in the old town. You couldn't be more central. Perfect. The rooftop pool & bar were a great surprise!

We were in a triple room as we had 3 adults, so it could've done with being a little bigger.

The location was excellent. It felt like it was the Heart of Sevilla. Hotel was clean and breakfast was lovely.

Quite a few steps. Wheelchair user. It was ok to enter the Hotel as they placed a slope but not to enter the breakfast area had to lift up the wheelchair for a few days. Hard.

Perfect location, the hotel literally next door to the main cathedral of Seville. One can walk to all the points of interest from the hotel, plenty of cafes, restaurants just outside of the hotel, the royal palace Alcazar of Seville is just across the plaza. The rooftop cafe is not to be missed, amazing view. The room is comfortable, amenities are ok, coffee maker in the room.

As with all hotels located at the plaza, there is a fair amount of street noisy. The washroom fan connected directly to the outside, so you can hear all the noise from the street. Shut the washroom door will cut it down. If you want a quieter room, request for a room facing away from the street, but you will lose the charming view of the cathedral literally outside of the window.

Fantastic location and fantastic room terrace bar and swimming pool. So handy for all the main attractions and also to pop back for a chill during the day. Loved the view over the cathedral. Very comfortable rooms and bed and very peaceful.

There were no free drinks/snacks like in both the other hotels I stayed in including one that was a lot cheaper. The hotel staff weren't as friendly as the other hotels either and the info on the pool opening times wasn't clear. I had about 3 different versions and when I did go there when it was supposed to be open there was noone at the bar to get a drink or to ask for a towel as it said not to use the hotel room towels.

We stayed 2 nights, and we were unlucky with the room: it was clearly pre-update, with no possibility to cool the room, and a bathroom that was less than optimal. When we complained to the reception, though, they were very understanding, and gave us a very suitable upgrade. So, in the end, we were very happy with our accommodation. That aside: the spot cannot be beaten. The hotel is perfectly located near the Cathedral and the entrance to the Alcazar Real. And while there: try not to miss the rooftop terrace with the amazing view of the Cathedral.

The update for the pre-update rooms is long overdue: if at all possible, try to stay in one of the fulle renovated accomodations.

This hotel is just by the cathedral and the rooftop bar was a real bonus. It was lovely up there in the evenings when we visited. The cathedral is lit up and they serve lovely drinks and cocktails. The rooms were value for money considering the price we paid and location was surrounded by all types of restaurants, fine dining and tapas etc. so good option for all budgets. Easy to visit all the main attractions on foot.

The bathroom was a little dated, but again this was reflected in the price so not a negative, just be aware, water was plentiful and shower good, but over the bath in the room we stayed in.

Location excellent, in the square in the old town, hotel was super clean, good selection of food for breakfast. Staff very helpful and pleasant at all times. The views from the roof terrace were awesome

I thought the room was a little on the small side for a superior room and there was only a small window which meant the room was fairly dark without the lights on, the description said a light airy room. The separate toilet and bidet room was awkward to get in as the door opened too near the toilet. The cooked food at breakfast quickly went cold as the heaters did not seem to be working properly. However I must say that non of this spoilt our stay as they are just a couple of niggles

Excellent location; couldn't be better. A stones throw from the cathedral and from the roof top pool and and bar the view was spectacular. The room was very clean, the bed comfy and the shower very powerful and lots of warm water.

Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice, and we visited during a warm (30 degrees) April, but any hotter and I think that the AC would struggle to cope. And if you like the TV on, despite the booklet saying that UK channels were available there weren't any at all.

This is my wife and I second stay at this Hotel. The Hotel is just stunning with old antiques, art work and vintage prints and lovely architecture. The Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The position is perfect to the old town as you are right in it. They also recommend parking at a close by underground car park as they do have limited parking but it is a nerve racking experience trying to get to the hotel by car if you have not been there before. We have tried both and the public underground is easy and 7 minute walk to the hotel. The underground car park is easier to exit Seville when leaving. Thanks again to the staff a lovely stay. Location of this stylish nice old hotel was top A in the middle of the Centre of Sevilla. Room was good and convenient on the third floor. Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast not included in the roomrate, was too expensive for a quite simple meal. Breakfast ‘restaurant’ was far away located in the building in a noisy space. Around the corner of the hotel you could get a better breakfast for half the price !
