The location is excellent and centrally located within areas of interest and the train and bus station. My room and its ensuite were spotlessly clean.
The window could not be opened because of an external screen, and without air conditioning, the only source of air movement was a desk fan. I found the ensuite bathroom awkward and inconvenient to use.

Great location. Clean. Cheaper than other (totally overpriced!) Karlstad hotels. The bathroom shower is a little strange (see photo), but it actually works fine.
Pretty sad breakfast. Paper-thin walls.

Metal bunk beds, not a good idea for adults! To noisy when turning. Did not feel safe to sleep at the top. Ridiculous to charge for clean sheets and towels. Just include them in the price. Also maybe an idea to get a vending machine to buy cold water. Shower is terrible.
