The hotel has a coherent, stately old-fashioned styled which can be found throughout the reception, hallways and guest rooms. The room itself was very comfortable with pleasant beds and agreeable sofa. The bathroom was recently renovated and very inviting. The breakfast was excellent with a satisfying degree of variation with many warm dishes and cold cuts. The hotel is situated very close to the city centre and offers parking around the corner for a small fee.

A case of nitpicking, but there was not a good ventilation in the bathroom which left the area somewhat damp after showering.

Need to increase the number of motorcycle so, guest will move with there friends & motorcycle need to mentioned the hotel name so, easy for identification. Our another collegue stay another hotel & they have more motorcycle so, all team move outside together.

Good breakfast and we liked the idea of having tea and coffee available in the reception 24/7

The shower did not have a curtain which meant that water went all over the floor. We noticed that the room next door had a curtain so why not in our room? Strange choice of TV channels - why only 4 swedish channels and a lot of non-Swedish ones. Why so many in German?? It would have been better with more Swedish channels - we could not watch our favorite programmes.

Great hotel in general! Very cozy, clean and fresh. Perfect location in the city center. Only 30 minutes drive from the skicenter Romme Alpin. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants just next door. Friendly staff, good breakfast and you can also take as much tea and coffee as you like during the day. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a weekend stay.

We were traveling as a couple but our bed was 2 separate parts put together as one. We also had a big canvas on the wall where the bed's gable should have been. That made it uncomfortable to sit in the bed. It was also very cold in the room at our arrival.

I think the room was was to cheap, we expected way way less for that money (complained about it :) ) Tasteful, big and freashly renovated room. Really nice town, guests and staff working on that hotel. It

The hotel has been refurbished recently and this has been done very lovely. Attention has been paid to details and this forms the lovely appearance of the hotel. Very familial style, nice details and definitely a good choice when Staying in Ludvika.

The "recent" renovations have changed this hotel from so-so to superb, I hadn't been here for many years. Weekend staff were all smiles, professional and friendly. Breakfast was great and served in a very cozy setting.

Room doors are quite thin and lets in quite a bit of noise. There are no shower curtains, a designer thing that I don't like.

We, a family with young kid from Stockholm, stayed one night yesterday at this hotel. Don’t be fooled by your “first impression “ when you walked in the corridor which indicates it is old and out dated. Once you get into the room you will notice how nice, newly refurbished the rooms are. The owners are very kind, professional and hard working. Choose this hotel, you will like it, a lot.

I had an early checkout and they made sure I got all I needed for breakfast! This was great! Thanks very much!! The Hotel is beautifully decorated, right in the town center and the host are very nice and welcoming. Really one of the best hotels I had on my travels lately.

very clean and well decorated. lovely staff on reception. tea and coffee available all day behind reception.

not the property, but the town doesn’t have much going for it. it was for us, just an overnight stop and the hotel couldn’t have been better.
