Scandic Kista

We spent 4 nights in this hotel and were very satisfied - nice stay, comfortable beds. Our room was spacious, well kept and clean. The room had the necessary facilities, including an iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. There were refillable shampoo, bath gel and soap containers in the bathroom. The breakfast was quite plentiful and with many options, including vegetarian. The hotel is a bit further from the center but really close to the Kista metro station. There is a shopping mall around.

There are not many things to complain about - on the day of arrival the lift was not working but it was fixed quickly (and luckily we were on the first floor anyway). Breakfast serving hours were quite early, on weekdays until 9.00 and on weekends until 10.00 - the background is that most guests are there for work and leave early.

Breakfast was good, lot of different choices of food as well as good breakfast timings. Rooms were good, we were offered room with kitchen, which we declined as we spent were here for work and quite busy. There is sauna available if you prebook it earlier. Location spot of from KTH Electrum, RISE and Ericsson facilities, as well as 2 min walk to Kista Galeria shopping mall and metro station.

Kitchen-less rooms, doesn't have any cups, tea kettle or coffee machine, which I got used to as always available in different hotels around Europe. If you get offered one with kitchen, take it, even if you don't need kitchen.

Breakfast was excellent. A wide range of products is provided. Also, the distance to the train station is close to the hotel, making it easy to go to the centre. The rooms are cosy, and the beds are comfortable. Everything is clean, as well as the equipment in the room.

I didn't like the party next door. However, the excellent staff enabled me to change the room only for that night even though the hotel was almost fully-booked. The approach of the staff was great and guest-friendly.

Customer oriented receptionists. Very good breakfast. Improved handling of housekeeping. During my stay last year, they require that one have to go to the reception the night before if the room should be cleaned the next day. Thus couldn't be done by phone since the phones don't work. Now, they asked during check-in how often one wants housekeeping. I am glad the rectify the handling.

The phones in the rooms do not work. If there is a way to get the to work, put instructions in the rooms. Otherwise, just remove them. The link to setup Chromecast did not work in both rooms we stayed in. WiFi does not reconnect. One has to remove/forget the connection and reconnect, everyday. The curtains let through too much light than I would have liked, especially where the windows are. Fridge and water boiler missing. I could understand fridge being more expensive and uses more electricity, but water boiler is cheap and most people won't use it. But for people that use it, not having it is an annoyance. I don't drink tea, but my wife does, for instance.

The breakfast was very good; a very good variation of offers. Very friendly and helpful personal. A little bar and restaurant where you can get a good selection of drinks (and some simple food) if you want.

Due to Covid (?) the room was only cleaned after asking for it (the next day). That could be organized a bit better. The elevator was a bit noisy (my room was close to it) - during the night the signal to tell that an elevator car has arrived could be made less loud. It can be annoying at 4 in the night ...

well located, about 20mn to central Stockholm by metro but not so easy to find when you come off the train, you have to cross the whole shopping center, they should put signs to help finding it as the GPS doesn't !

The hotel is clean, rooms are nice and clean. I like that we got microwave and little sink in the "studio" we got. Breakfast was very good. There is a pool table, boule, etc in the reception area. The hotel location is perfect as it is about 50 metres to Kista galleria and about 300m to the metro(T-banan). Parking was a breeze. As I was able to park in a parking house about 100 metres away at a very reasonable price. I paid about 120SEK for about 3 days. And of course, the staff are very friendly and professional. I will definitely stay here next time I am visiting Stockholm.

The bed and pillow takes one day to get used to it. I and my wife found it difficult to sleep the first night because the pillow was too soft and the ventilation was kind of loud. My 2 kids slept well throughout our 3 day stay, though. It would be good if there is are kid channels apart from SVT barn.

Hotel Is close to helenelund station on the stockholm to Uppsala line. Room was huge with kitchen and great bathroom. Breakfast was great and tasty but lacks variety. No fish for example. However, great choice of breads, cheeses and yogurt.

1, no air conditioning. 2, no room cleaning in 4 days 3, cashless hotel .Which i hate. People should always be able to choose. As a consequence i didn't buy anything from the hotel and I won't stay there in the future.

Scandic Kista was good, rooms comfortable and generally the staff were great

The night staff spent a lot of time telling us about the rules of the hotel instead of giving us the rightful information like where parking was. We paid parking for the time we supposed to be there but got a fine of 1100 Swedish kroner on the night we arrived for parking in the wrong spot that wasn’t for scandic. We feel he should have told us because we parked outside the entrance of the hotel where he was seeing our car.

Comfortable, practical accommodation. Excellent breakfast and kind, proffesional staff. The hotel parking was full but the hotel offers parking in a nearby garage (which was even better and for a friendly price). The underground station is just across the street (entrance through shopping centre Kista Galleria). It is max 20 minutes to T-Centralen. We would definitely stay here again.
