Superior Hotel Nidwaldnerhof

The hotel is located at the bank of Lake Lucerne with magnificent views toward the surrounding hills and the lake. It is mesmerizing. The establishment run by a wonderful Family with passion, professionalism and personal touch. Each guests welcomed and treated with care and love. Since I had my birthday on the weekend - we have received an upgrade to a beautiful suite which was full window, overlooking lake Lucerne, within the suite there was a jacuzzi. The location is quiet, yet, many things to do around. You can also take boat trip, go for a hike, etc. Within a hotel there is a fantastic restaurant - with great Chef and culinary, hospitality team - which is popular by locals and tourists equally. The food is amazing - we had Asian food. The breakfast offers healthy food with fresh local ingredients, from farmers near by - on the buffet menu: fresh cuts, various breads, cheese, fruits, vegetables, sweets, and hot drink and eggs offered everyone as per their taste. The Service Team is the Gem of this hotel - we were just humbled by the treatment of the Team. There is a safe, free underground parking with plenty of places. Thank you very much for the special birthday arrangement, the upgrade, the birthday cake, the kind celebration and chocolates. We are already planning our return trip and waiting to spend few days at the hotel. Our experience was magical, and exceeded our expectation. Yvett

- I would like if the room had a complete blackout curtains/blinds - Cot price - A bit expensive - Didn't like the cup in which the sundae was served, too tall and uncomfortable to eat

location is perfect, near the lake and we stayed with a lake view room which was amazing! we kindly ask to have a room at the ground floor and a baby bed and it was all arranged when we arrived. perfectly clean and very enough space. breakfast was also perfect quality. there is a pillow menu which is awesome. very nice chairs at the balcony so you can sit and enjoy the view.

The breakfast is just exellent! Many variety of the foods and drinks. The view is AWESOME and super! Seating nearby bueatiful Lake of Luzane and eating breakfast feels so good and refreashing every monring. We will come back again defintely. We had a family suite which has two spacious rooms. from the Balcone you can see the lake and mountain. Exellent location! The bus stop is right in front of the hotal. The ferry station is only 5 min walking.

Everything was perfect. We traveled with our dog and she got her towel, bowl and treats🥰 cost for our dog was 10CHF. Parking was great. We stayed only one night because we were passing through Switzerland but this is great location to explore the area around Lucern and to relax. Breakfast was great too!

There is no air conditioning. It wasn’t a problem for us because it was fine to sleep with open window but just a thing to consider if you are booking in summer time.

Spacious rooms, fantastic location, good parking. Get a lake view; when you wake up in the morning, it will take your breath away. dinner was delicious! Flávio helped us check in late at night and the other staff were so friendly and helpful!

I wish I could have stayed longer. We stopped for the night, but wish we could have stayed a week.

We brought our own food & the Hotel heated it up for us & provided us Plates 🍽 & other cutlery. Nice Lake side Hotel....but had a Noisy Boat in the front of our Room 🤭🤣.

We arrived a little early...but the room wasn't ready. So we were asked to wait ✋. That's actually OK....but it was winter....so as it gets Dark fast....we felt it was a little waste of time..... Because if we check in late.... we then settle down late and then when we think of getting out of the hotel for a walk it is already dark...Nothing much to see around the Hotel & Village.

We had a lovely room overlooking the lake. The restaurant evening meals and breakfast were excellent There is plenty of free parking although some of the spaces are a bit small.

Sleep quality was poor due to intermittent noise from the air-conditioning unit.

Stunning location. All staff were extremely helpful and professional and delivered service with a genuine warmth and friendly attitude. Breakfast had a great variety of items to choose from. Our evening meal in the restaurant was outstanding - high quality local ingredients prepared with care and attention and all delicious.

could not find an English subtitle in the TV - a very minor thing !

Lovely room overlooking the lake and extremely peaceful (couldn't see or hear the motorway at all, even though it was so close). Enjoyed being able to swim in the lake from the hotel. Had a lovely meal on the spacious outdoor restaurant
