The check-in is very flexible as they have people 24/24h in the reception. The room is very spacious and very clean. Furthermore the staff was very friendly and it was very easy to arrive departing from Zurich.
There was no fridge in the room and no air conditioning. This can be a problem if you're travelling in the summer but for me it actually wasn't.

A few times a year I have to work for a client at Olten. My first choice always is the Hotel Arte. It is convenient to get there, park the car in the parking garage, maybe get some grocery in the inhouse grocery shop Migros. The rooms are well furnished, nicely decorated with an art wall highlighting different Swiss artist. I like the floorplan, the set-up of the bathroom, the desk providing enough space to work.

the hotel is good but not that special for its money. don't get me wrong, a lot of people are in Olten for school or work but it is not a city like Zurich or Basel where the hotel prices are more or less the same for a Hotel like this one. but everything else is really great.

The hotel is located within a big commercial complex (shopping centre). This allowed me to do some shopping after check-in. Checkin was quick and easy. I was even able to lend a USB charger as I had forgotten mine. Dinner and breakfast were possible for hotel guests only (due to Covid restrictions).
The air conditioning in the room was noisy (the whole night). The shower could be a bit bigger for such a room/rate.

Having stayed several times at the Arte hotel, to me it is the most convenient venue at Olten. I like the set-up of the room, its decoration referring to different Swiss artists in every room, the decent seized bathroom, the convenience of the parking garage.

Unable to use the Bluetooth on the room's radio loudspeaker. We were unable to connect to. We can see all Bluetooth from other rooms and tried to connect to 5 of them. Unfortunately, none of them was the Bluetooth radio loudspeaker from our room.
