Hôtel du Port

Eva was very helpful before and during the stay at the hotel. The views from the room and the restaurant over the lake were very beautiful. The room was clean and quiet with window closed. The breakfast was good. We enjoyed an œuf à la qocue. It’d be good to check with the hotel in advance about the discounts of parks and museums if you plan to go because they have a special discount coupon for the hotel guests up to 50%. I would love to come back!

The shutters of the windows were old, and one of them were closed completely but leaving tiny spaces between the panels and that did not make the room totally dark.

Hotel du Port is a cozy and well kept hotel overlooking the lake. Everybody is extremely nice and you can tell they love what they do always smiling and friendly. From the people working at the reception to the breakfast lady, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The location is ideal to relax or reach any point of interest in the area. We visited Chateau Chillon and Charlie Chaplin world. The riviera card provided by the hotel gives the possibility to have discounts and travel for free on public transportation. You can park the car and forget about it. We liked the room with a balcony and the beautiful view. The rooms are small but just what you need since the idea is to visit the area or stop overnight. Breakfast is very good and served in the house. The restaurant across the street which also belongs to the hotel ,offers good food and an extremely professional service. A Coop is a few steps away near the bus stop. Parking is easy to find and very affordable or free of charge for the first hour and from 6pm. Villeneuve is lovely and has a beautiful beach and swimming pool. A bike rental (free of charge) is also at a walking distance from the hotel. We spent two nights there and came home totally recharged. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you :-D

Nothing we didn’t like. I wish we could have stayed longer. The road in front of the hotel can be busy but doesn’t disturb the quality of sleep.

it’s right in the heart of Villeneuve. The room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful vie of the lake. The free breakfast was great! I also loved that I got a coupon that I could use for discounts up to. 50% off on museums and other things not just in Villeneuve bout in surrounding towns as well. plus, the discount card gave me free passage on all busses and trains during my stay.

The hotel is just across a road from the lake of Geneva. It has a bar/restaurant area on a covered jetty over the water. Our room was on the third floor of the hotel with a direct view of the lake. The breakfast was good, including excellent croissants. The room was compact but well designed with all that one needs. The in-room safe was big enough for a tablet. The hotel is handy for public transport - bus, train and boat - and close to a big supermarket.

The room was a little small but we were happy with everything else.

Hotel is like a seaside hotel, nothing fancy but comfortable, very clean. Parking on the other side of the road. Lovely view from my room overlooking the lake .Breakfast room very nice, as well as the breakfast itself.

The main road is between the hotel and the lake, where the restaurant is. The traffic is moderately heavy, so the view goes with the noise, but I WAS TOLD about this, and was given the choice, ahead of time!!!!

Extremely clean room, very helpful and professional staff, nice continental breakfast, convenient location almost directly across from the boat pier and bus stop

This is not a criticism, but be aware that the hotel is on the road and there is traffic noise. This did not bother us. But if it might bother you, then bring earplugs.

The view from the room was fantastic. Very nice breakfast room and good choice at the buffet. Coffee/cappuccino machine of excelent quality. the cappuccino was excellent. Very esasy to park just near and infront of the hotel and free of charge all night long.

A little overpriced

The breakfast was ample and very good. The location was perfect. And their restaurant on the water was very enjoyable. The staff were more than helpful, and a pleasure to talk to. I would definitely return.

Parking was street parking and you had to purchase tickets, but that is the only inconvenience.

Great location and nice staffs. Feel very welcomed! Family styled hotel makes us feeling at home.

Sometimes the Wi-Fi in room could be faster.
