Khao Sok Tree House Resort

First of all I would like to thank all of you who contribuited with comments. It was very helpful. I was well aware off the good and bad things of this resort. i stayed only for 2 nights. I love it! I wanted to see the monkeys ❤️ and I saw them :)) It was a great experiense! The location is amazing, it felt like I was in the middle of the jungle. The Khao Sok National Park is really close, it took us just 10 or 15 min to ger there. Nearby you have a wide range of restaurants, thai massage places, pharmacec, exchange boots. The staff of the resort was very nice, helpful. I asked them to help me with a tour that I wanted to go and they did. I used the chat option via booking and arrange everything weeks before my staying at the resort. It is true that their English needs to be improved, but that didn’t bother me at all. It is true that the water pressure is low - but that is valid for the entire country! I stayed in Phuket, Khao Sok, Krabi and Bangkok - this problem is present everywhere. But that didn’t bother me - I was able to shower without any problem :)) Again, true that after shower the bathroom is filled with water, - you can use the beach slippers and, again, problem solved :) To sum up - I loved it! I selected this resort for the location, for monkey experience - and I got it :) Everything else wasn’t important.

Close to nature, great fun for the kids, lovely hosts, amazing tours at very competitive prices and the guides are very knowledgeable because the owner is a birdwatcher himself. Food was very good and breakfast has a choice of a fruit bowl with cereal which is great! walking distance to main area with bars and restaurants. waking up in nature was amazing! beds are comfortable which is a bonus after a long day trekking! plus you can book a massage in your room!:)

I wish they would use lighter colour to paint bamboo inside the rooms - like white and mix with natural bamboo - it will bring more light and space. right now the hackie Green colour makes space feels even smaller and darker

It’s a really unique property, everything is connected by raised walkways in the trees. You are really in the jungle. There is a nice little pool, and a beautiful area for eating. Staff were really friendly, and arranged several tours for us, all of it which we were happy with. We would definitely stay here again. Our son loved it, and we saw monkeys!

It’s about a 1.5 km walk to get to the national park, and there isn’t easy transportation to get around unless you have your own moped or bike, or are doing a tour. There was a good variety of food, though the food was average.

the staff is lovely, you feel welcome from the second you access the property! the place have a jungle vibe and you will see apes around your hut or in general the property. the breakfast is great, we even could chose some things there wasn’t on the menu card! but they would make it anyway! and also there’s free juice, water, tea and coffee from breakfast begins to it ends.

the rooms could need a upgrade! but in the same time you book the hotel because you wanna feel like - in the jungle.?

The feeling of being part of nature was wonderful. It's a unusual experiënce. Our host, Vipa Somwong went out of her way to help with a fantastic daytrip as well as organising our transport right to the doorstep of our next destination. They privided great food at their restourant and also did our laundry for a reasonable fee. A place to remember.

I could recommend a rubbermat in the shower as the floor gets very slippery when wet.

We stayed for two nights, but I wish we booked for more. The staff is amazing 🤩 and the structure is outstanding.. it’s like an amusement park for the kids but also for grownups. You are literally in the jungle so you can spend hours watching nature around you ♥️. Beds are super comfy, personnel very attentive, amazing breakfast and amazing restaurant. They provide tours and .. oh I wish I could have stayed longer!! Definitely a place I’m coming back to!

We had a really spacious three house with a bath in it! It looked very nice! It was better than we had expect! Also you can walk up at the look out wich gives a nice view. From the resort you can book tours to the lake. I would recommend it!

Between the bathroom en the bedroom there was rain leaking but it wasn’t that bad. It didn’t came in the rooms. It gives you the jungle experience.

Great location and beautifully built treehouses in the heart of the jungle. Very helpful staff and easy to book a range of excellent day trips to explore the area. Good cheap food available from an extensive menu.

Bathrooms were quite basic with low water pressure. Pool was quite small and pool area was run down.

Unique experience for a reasonable price, very comfortable and clean, a short walk or drive from the National Park, friendly staff, good WIFI

The staff drop little bombs into the forest to keep the monkeys away. They are extraordinarily loud and unsettling for guests (especially as they do not explain this to you upon checkin or give warning), as well as disruptive to other local hotels.

Location was perfect. Room was in the trees in the woods. Rooms were really spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We booked a tour into the national park and the staff made sure everything was taken care of. Food and drinks were good.

There wasn’t a lot of light in the room. A lot of lamps tho but not very powerful. This adds of course to the treehouse experience but it’s hard to do things with no light during the day.
