New York City is known as a city that never sleeps; it’s known for smashing parties every night, bars on every street corner, art exhibitions, galleries, fashion week, Sex and the City and more. New York City’s hotspots share the same quick movement as the city itself; new places open up every week and it is hard to follow up on where the trendiest places are. In order to help you find your way around, we’ve listed the top 5 current hotspots in this amazing city:

1. Monkey Bar

Address: 60 East 54th Street, New York, NY 10022

If you are looking for a stylish night on the town, enjoying jazzy tunes and spot celebrities like Marc Jacbos and Heidi Klum, than this is the perfect place for you. The Monkey Bar has been popular by New Yorkers for it seems like forever; the elegant interior design, relaxed by yet oh so chic atmosphere, dimmed lights and romantic feel, all make it as one of the most popular places in town.

2. Milk & Honey

Bar restaurant

Address: 134 Eldridge Street, New York, NY 10002

This luxury place is a hidden hot spot in the city and unfortunately it is very difficult to enter there.  If you wish to have dinner or just a cocktail in the Milk & Honey, you will have to make reservation prior to your arrival. And when we say “prior” we mean: you might need to make this reservation a month in advance! So what is so special about this place that makes everybody go crazy for it? When you enter the Milk & Honey you would feel as if you went back in time to the 20th century. The design, music, service and everything else there, make you feel secured that you came to the right place in town.

3. Rue B Bar

Address: 188 Avenue B, New York, NY 10009

This bar might be tiny, but it didn’t stop it from achieving some great reviews from the “Time Out” and “New York” magazines. Every evening, the bar gives stage to talented jazz artists and you can be certain that they will give you a hell of a show. Unlike the previous hot spots, the Rue B Bar has no celebrities and no luxury vibe. However, it gives you a place where you can be totally yourself without the need to get all dressed up.

4. Marquee Nightclub

Address: 289 10th Ave, New York, NY 10001

These days, the Marquee club is the hottest night club in town. The interior design is lavish and trendy, the D.J’s that mix there are all well known in the world, the crowd is beautiful and the party-themes are unique and fun. You can regularly see in the Marquee celebrities like Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan; with both names on the guest list, you can be sure the party will not be boring!

5. The Harrison Restaurant

Address: 355 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10013

The Harrison restaurant will be an absolute delight for those of you who don’t like to compromise on what they eat. The delicious food that is served there is all American cuisine but with a lovely twist to it. But not only the food is what brings all the people here again and again, the prices are decent for a chef restaurant, the staff is extremely nice and the atmosphere is super nice and comfy. Potato Ravioli with Brussels sprouts, Roasted Onion and Almonds and Grilled Pork Chop with tomato are just some of the things you will find on the menu.
