Even the building need the renovation, and everything inside, the cleaning ladies r doing great job. Ebery day they r cleaning the room, change towels, fill water, coffee, tea.. The breakfast is standard. I liked the lady from kitchen cause she welcomed u with a big smile. Staff r very helpfull, they will help u with all of your questions. Next to the hotel is nice restaurant. Location is good for visiting sightseeing and bazar.

During the weekend it was so noisy outside. On working days its ok. I wouldn't recommend walking at night through the street in front of hotel, its a bit creepy. Maybe cause we were there before the season.. But besides the hotel, maybe 10-15min walk, u will find great street where locals r enjoying in different kind of cousine.

The location is great, near the subway and bus stops. What I like the most is the breakfast. The personnel is amazing, very friendly and helps in any situation.

Some noise in the night from outside. The hotel is on the busy street, so be ready to wake up early in the morning. From 6 AM a lot of cars and motorcycles drive by with noisy honks.

I was not happy with the room so complained and was given a good room which was comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a good location with easy access to the city centre. It was very quiet so had a restful stay. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food available. Quality nescafe coffee and fruit juice was available. The lady serving breakfast was very friendly and cheerful greeting guests with a big smile. Also reception staff were very pleasant especially Dilek. Thanks for a great stay at an affordable price.

Lift was a bit slow and only one lift to service 7 floors

Loved the facilities for the price, friendly staff, fresh hot breakfast options and nearness to the sites. Our hosts went out of their way to arrange a last minute shuttle for us to get to Ephesus.

The shower would not stay attached and quite a bit of street noise and noise from other hotel guests at night.

The breakfast was delicious, with many kinds of traditional food. The hotel was clean. The staff very friendly. The location of the hotel was very close to the metro, train, buses and tram, however I mostly walked to go to places in the city centre. It is located on a central avenue, next to all kinds of shops. Finally, the wifi signal was good in the most times.

The rooms were old with normal wear and tear due to time. But I didn't worry because the general quality of stay and price were good for me. Some nights, it was noisy road cause of fiestas for political votes results and football championship. The other days were normal and there never was noise from the other rooms.

Location is very good, 5 min of walk from Basmaniye metro station. Staff was amazingly friendly. The room was cleaned every day

Everything's ok

Such a wonderful family run hotel. The family treated us like we had known eachother for years and really went the extra mile to make sure we were taken are of. The hotel itself is amazing especially for the price we paid. It’s located in maybe a bit of a busy(expect some noises), booming and sometimes intimidating area (there are people walking around outside at all times but they are very respectful and have not bothered us in any way) but you are right in the center of Izmir making walking or taking the taxi to the most touristy areas and beyond perfect. The hotel itself has a vip bus arrangement which took us from Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to the hotel in maybe 10-15 minutes all the while enjoying the comfort and safety provided by the hotel owner himself. When we talked to the owner he even told us he could bring us to and from a lot of location in Izmir and Alacati as we were with 5 people in total making taxi rides a little tight if we had to squeeze in one car. For a great price he would drive us and all of our luggage to wherever we wanted. The hotel itself may be a little dated as you can probably read from other reviews, but the staff, location, hygiene, safety, comfort, and breakfast definitely makes up for it! Especially the breakfast was a typical turkish breakfast with just the right amount of dishes to enjoy and pastries right from the hands of this talented family. All in all, went way above my expectations especially seen the prices. Got a real homey and familiar feel from everyone and I would for sure recommend Kozan City Hotel!

Location is really good and safe. You can visit most of the popular places, streets, restaurants on foot, easily. The staff members are very kind and helpful. They even suggest us extra services for free. Facilities are also in a good condition. Good breakfast options. Highly recommend!

The location of the hotel was perfect! So close to Konak pier, Kemeralti Carshi, Izmir Clock Tower, Izmir Kultur Park, Chankaya metro station, bus stations and parks and so many restaurants and shops! The breakfast that hotel offers was unbeliavable. Can't describe the supportive hotel staff!

I would like to have a toothbrush and toothpaste. In addition to that I killed 2 mosquitos in the bathroom but there were still some of them. But these were not big problems. I am sure that these problems will be solved soon.

Mr Erol Kozan who is owner of hotel is very very jolly person and always ready to help. He helped me a lot in assisting everything. We visited Ephesus and Selcuk one day and other day went to drop Antalya via Pamukkale. He gave best of his service and assisted me everywhere and my kids also liked him very much. Hotel staff is also very good. Hotel very much recommended to everybody who want simple stay and hospitality in Izmir. Mr kozan best turkish person i have ever met. Will surely like to come back again to meet him.

Nothing was bad compare to price, Location , breakfast and staff.
