Everything was perfect!!!

Oberoi Al Zorah was an absolute dream! It's a hidden gem amidst the hustle and bustle of city life. A great escape and only 1HR away from Dubai. We booked a Premium One Bedroom Beachfront Villa with Private pool. It was sea facing and felt like we were in Langkawi or Mauritius without having to take a flight out of the country. You wake up in the bliss of chirping birds, you can walk the beach at sun rise, take a swim in your private pool and enjoy breakfast at the main resort restaurant. There are plenty of options and great food quality. My husband particularly LOVED his birthday steak dinner and termed it as the best steak he has ever had in life! There were also complimentary Yoga & Meditation Sessions at the resort which we loved and thoroughly enjoyed. The villa itself is quite spacious, secluded and comfortable. Can't wait to visit again!

I actually didn't expect this hotel to be like this. Spacious area, a lot of people, but there is no crowd and no one bothers anyone. Quiet, beautiful place with beautiful building architecture. You live like in the Garden of Eden. The pool is large and clean. Sufficient number of sun loungers. Friendly and helpful staff. The menu is varied and no one will definitely go hungry. I want to come back here and come back.

Hard to say. Probably only a special menu for the New Year celebration, which was expensive and in small quantities. One joy is that we didn’t overeat.

Staff in general were very nice and very welcoming and friendly. Facilities are excellent. Dining in food were very very good each time I ordered the food was fresh, delicious and fast to serve. Food at the breakfast though was good but some dishes needed more work to be better. Parking is free and valet. Wifi good. Room spacious and clean . Room service comes twice which is excellent service. Staff at the beach were the best and nice and helpful.

I was not feeling well one day so I requested my usual breakfast in room but they refused and did not even try to provide options due to my condition. Another occasion, I requested someone to show me around especially that the resort was big and as first visit I couldn’t know where is the restaurant, so I called reception and requested someone to come and guide me he was so tough and said its near no need for someone to come and started to explain the directions! I believe the receptionists (some not all) need more training on how to handle such requests in more lenient way rather than to be a bit rude and bluntly refuse requests!

We've been before and love the rooms with balconies and the pool. The pool menu has had an upgrade, and everything was so good. The grounds are gorgeous and so peaceful (but keep in mind there is nothing around the hotel) so it's best to plan to stay on site your whole time. It's a great place for 1 or 2 nights to just fully relax. I only cap at that amount of time as all food is served in the same restaurant, so personally, that's the max time I'd stay. Aside from a few outliers, the staff was phenomenal - really kind - and went out of their way to help.

The AC is locked at 20 degrees and kept shutting off in the night, and the room got quite warm. We asked for a non-smoking room, but it had a smoke odor (nor super steong, but someone before had definitely smoked). Dinner only has one restaurant for summer (they close their beach/seafood one) and it's so quite there we felt bad having a conversation a normal level - I'd recommend to turn up the music a little bit to create background noise!

The staff were exceptional. They remembered about our breakfast order while taking it at the dinner, remembered about my glutten intolerance, and adjusted our menus accordingly. I would like to praise Yadna. She gave my daughter a doll simply because she enjoyed her company.

The sun lougers were tatty and dirty, and even pool towels were torn and dirty (at the room garden lougers). They were also strict about check out time (allowed additional hour), being only 30% occupied. If we had stayed longer, I would definitely have lunch at the hotel.

Everything. The room & bathroom were spacious and beautifully designed. We were glad we chose the room with private garden. It was big and nice area to escape the heat of afternoon privately. The quitness you feel around the resort was refreshing from daily busy life. The beach was beautiful and the service there was amazing. They provide beach slippers in case you forget yours for free 😀. Love the idea of order whatever you want for breakfast, but it is not a buffet. This is the second hotel I noticed they provide breakfast this way & & I prefer it over the waste of food in the buffet. The staff were friendly and professional.

The menu options for dining in or at the restaurants were very limited & and overpriced. I understand it is a 5-star resort, but still, I have been in other 5 stars resorts UAE & Oman. The options for eating were not that Imited. The breakfast menu was way better than if you were considering light dinner or afternoon brunch.

Spacious rooms

My short staycation was ruined as I got beaten badly by horse flies on my face while i was at the pool. My face was badly effected with at least 7 bites. Been 3 weeks now and marks haven’t gone. I was upset because when i told ‘Mary’ the lady at the reception, she hasnt offered any help or any dr consultation and I had to pay for the medication cream that I have even asked them to send me. Another remark is breakfast, its not a buffet, and takes ages for food to come! Over all, price is high for the stay.

I love their hospitality and fantastic customer service, we went there to celebrate our anniversary and they send me a beautiful gift which I really loved, they surprised us with the cake and very warm and beautiful massage. Plus they send us afternoon tea to our room. I would like to thanks the general manager Mr. Antonio Cardiillo and front officer manager Mis. Divya Marwah and the interior The Oberai Beach Resort for making this stay memorable for us.

There’s nothing that I could say about it I like everything about this beautiful resort.

We enjoyed our stay last year and decided to return, for the quietness and landscape, not to mention about the staff friendliness. We liked very much the touch of sending sweets and fruits to the suite, along with the bottle of sparkling and the welcome note from the hotel GM.

-Not being recognized as a returning guest. - the lack of attention made to my comment Requesting an early check-in. - the lack of communication in bringing our luggage to the room. (Attendant while checking in forgot to ask about the tag number).
