Bosville Hotel

front desk staff were super helpful and very responsive (via Booking messages) both before and during our stay. They arranged dinner reservation for the evening of our arrival (before we got there). During our stay they gave great advise on places to go and things to do across the Isle. Breakfast and dinner was excellent

Parking was a bit of a nightmare. Of course it was raining when we arrived and there is very limited parking by the hotel. However we were able to pull up close and the staff helped unload all our bags and bring them up to our room (we were on the top floor) so husband could go to parking area - a short walk away.

Good location. Room ample size. Nice bathroom products. Great towels. Dinner and breakfast in the hotel were excellent.

Water temperature in the shower fluctuated from perfect to too cold! The room on the third floor was too warm. But most importantly, our room, #20, was beside the staff room so when they finished at the end of the night, they were very loud leaving. I remember seeing a comment about this in other reviews but forgot to request a room away from this area. The management really needs to reinforce with staff the need to be quiet when leaving their shift.

Excellent location, great breakfast. Good restaurant in-house for dinner which is nice if you dont want to walk or drive after Staff approached us in advance to book both breakfast and dinner which was considerate

Though it was a good stay experience, pricing was higher than I'd expect for this type of B&B. Also, though the room was large and clean with excellent shower, there were stairs in our room between the main area and the bathroom which was a bit inconvenient (could bean issue for older guests)

The location is stunning, the restaurant and bar also. The breakfast bagel (smoked salmon) is gorgeous and for dinner i had the chef’s special which was smoked haddock & mussel linguine that was divine finished with the cheeseboard 👌🏼 The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is located right next to a co-op which was open til late which was super convenient.

Nothing I didn’t like but the photos of our room weren’t so true to life, it looks really modern and scandi online but looks a bit tired for want of a better word but that wouldn’t stop me returning.

Had a great stay and a lovely night here. Nice staff, specially the lady at the reception when we checked in in the evening. She is friendly, helpful and offered us some reccomendations around the area. Nice location as well, near Potree habour, very convenient. Nice room, well equipped, well decorated, very clean, and very quiet as well!! The soundproof is actually beyond our expectations!

The absolute number of the price is a bit high honestly, but considering our last minute booking and the isle now entering the peak of tourist season, relatively speaking, the price is ok and understandable.

Very conveniently located in the very center. Nice small hotel. Rooms equipped for 4-stars as advertised. The hotel staff was helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We have also booked dinner at this hotel and it was great as well.

The room was really tiny. We had to move some furniture to be able to open two suitcases. The first night was terrible because of the creaking fire door that we heard late at night and early in the morning. We raised this concern the next morning and even thought of moving, but the door was fixed immediately and our second night was much better.

Absolutely fantastic stay - on the more pricey end, we were NOT disappointed. Location is perfect, directly opposite the quaint colourful houses. An incredible breakfast was included in our stay which set us up for the whole day, it was worth staying here for the breakfast alone. Their in-house restaurant was great, menu and quality of food amazing. The best part of our stay was the faultless staff whose passion and attentiveness made our stay truly memorable!! The room was large but cosy, bed was like sleeping on a cloud.

The water from the shower did not get super hot, but we had a bath so made use of that!

The room next door was very noisy and kept us up a lot of the night. I tried to relax and use the lovely bath but could hear their full loud conversations. It was just myself and my son and he woke at 1am because of how loud they were. we were supposed to be in the Bosville and were relocated to the Marmalade due to an issue in the room. we booked the Bosville because it was only a few steps away from the shops which is much easier for my son and I. marmalade is a 15 minute walk.

comfy beds - had the best sleep during the trip so far. loved the cozy/vintage deco/vibe, adequate room space. room had an actual coffee machine with lots of coffee/tea/choc options available. offered bath robes even and their organic toiletries felt amazing. breakfast was very well presented and delicious.

room doors were locked using keys, which was cool but a bit inconvenient cos it doesn’t auto lock like usual our coffee machine wasn’t cleaned - there was an old coffee canister in it. room safe wasn’t unlocked so wasn’t usable. the room door was creaking quite loudly so we were probably bothersome to our neighbours when we went in/out of the room. despite all this, no service recovery. didn’t even get a room with a view despite sharing that we were on our honeymoon.

the location is amazing and very central and the rooms have a full view on the famous port and the rooms are super clean and the bathroom is big, clean and very modern

no parking but that has nothing to do with the hotel, it is the nature of the town, street parking are available and there is a very near parking lot that is available for the hotel residents
