Copperville B & B0

Copperville B&B Though the B&B was labeled as in Glennallen, it is really located in Copperville slightly south from Glennallen off the highway in a small neighborhood with fabulous views of the Wrangell Mountains. Our host, John, had been in contact with us to clarify the address and we had a contact phone no. if there were questions. John was also a pilot and very interesting to talk with about piloting in Alaska. It was a new B&B, some parts still being completed, and we had the very large, second-story apartment with big-window views of the Wrangell Mountains. It had its own outside exits (2) onto the deck, 2 double beds, full bathroom, separate bedroom, kitchen, living room and laundry room, and was well furnished. It was brand new and very clean and well stocked. It would have been good for at least a 3-4-person family. Breakfast was served with the family in their kitchen which was very enjoyable and a nice way to meet people and learn about what it was like to live in Alaska. We enjoyed the Inn and the people who ran it. Glennallen is barely a Hamlet and has limited restaurants but we ate at a good Mexican one in Glennallen. We were told that the Thai restaurant was good too. We would highly recommend this B&B for the Glennallen area.

It was very remote but we were on our way to Valdez and it was a great place to stay on the way.

Breakfast was tasty! John even prepared the 2 eggs over EZ, buttered toast and bacon I requested 😋 My “hosts”, John and Betty were very accommodating and easy going conversationalists. The location was central to the places I visited during my short stay. I liked the choice of “munchies” like nuts, chocolates and snack bars located just inside the entrance door! I didn’t take many pictures but, chose to share 2 of them here. All in all, my 3 days of “down time” exceeded my expectations! And meeting their other (furry baby) family member, Pixel was a pleasant surprise.

Honestly, there’s nothing I “didn’t like”.

Super quaint and quirky and not lacking any amenities! Privacy of a tiny cabin with a first class kitchen (actually 2!) and plenty of flush toilets - indoor and outdoor - and the same for the shower. A legit hot shower w great water pressure outside! The staff was wonderful. Even got a discount on outstanding fjord tour w Kenai Fjords Tours. Would absolutely recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

I really enjoyed John’s attention to make sure I had good directions and helping me feel comfortable upon arrival. I especially like Argo it was nice to pet some dogs. Breakfast was yummy with pancakes, sausage, fruit and yogurt. I also liked the quiet area where I could open the window at night. Very clean and nice towels and snacks.

John and Betty made us feel very welcome in their home. The bedroom, bath, and sitting area were comfortable and very clean. John was proactive with directions and quick to respond with suggestions when we had questions. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Thank you for an excellent stay!

The place is really cozy, and the host was very kind! Felt like staying at home. We had access to a common area with a fireplace and a comfy couch, which was great! Would definitely be willing to stay here again. Also the place had great wifi which is a rarity around here.

Nothing really comes to mind, it's a great place to stay!

Everything is very spread out in this part of Alaska, so this location was pretty good. Not many restaurants close by though. The apartment was great - very clean, spacious and well done.

The surroundings and room was excellent and very appropriate fir the location. The host was fantastic. Breakfast was unbelievable we had the fluffiest pancakes and best eggs. Again the host was fantastic he meet us as we drove in and was very friendly and personable.

We were met by one of the owners of the B&B and we were introduced to the facilities and advised where breakfast would be. We were then left to enjoy the comfortable, clean, modern and spacious suite of rooms.

Everything was great!

Friendly owners and pleasant breakfast conversations. Tasty pancakes. Comfortable beds in quiet surroundings perfect sleeping temperature in room. Excellent communication with owner
