Very comfortable for the two of us. The shared kitchen was fine but it did get a little cramped in the morning when another party was also trying to fix breakfast. They didn’t realize it was a shared space. The large windows gave us a nice view looking out to mountains. Location very handy to downtown Seward and kayaking office, just across the street, which was super handy for the day we booked kayaking.

Stayed 2 nights. The first morning there were nice breakfast pastries, but not the second morning. Plenty of options for breakfast but missed the pastries.

No doubt the best stocked B&B I have ever stayed at. Multiple selections of both hot and cold cereal, coffee, fresh fruit, real pastries (flakey turnovers). Very clean and modern appliances. Convenient location close to downtown. Also relatively close to the docks where we caught our two ocean fishing trips.

My only suggestion is to have a BBQ grill on site. We went on two fishing trips and wanted to cook some of our fish, but we wanted to avoid the strong aromas in the shared kitchen area. The first night we drove to a Seward city park and used one of the public grills. The second night we ended up buying a small disposable grill from the local True Value hardware store and grilled our fish at the Vue.

We stayed in the upstairs and had the two bedrooms. It was so beautiful to have breakfast overlooking the mountains every morning. It was also a great location-Seward is small so most locations are close to everything :) But this place was within in walking distance. It was very new, clean and modern.

The upstairs has two bedrooms and a living area with a pull out couch. The bedrooms have locked doors, but if someone sleeps on the pull out couch in the living area, there is no door blocking a guest from coming upstairs from the shared kitchen space-just fyi. It was still an awesome stay and we would go back despite that invconveince.

The location was great-LOVED being right beside the Resurrect Art coffeehouse and watching all of the locals enter and exit, telling us that we needed that place in our lives lol The rooms were so sweet and felt very comfortable. Loved the shampoo--my hair felt great, thank you very much; I'm switching shampoos now. And, we enjoyed the comfort of the kitchen, though we felt like we were alone in the big space which made us very happy.

So the gravel comes in with you! And, the floors get completely covered in it; there's no place to wipe your feet well enough to get rid of it, though we did vacuum after ourselves.

I first and foremost appreciated the absolutely amazing communication and detail provided by Rissie & The Coastal Heritage Team! They provided excellent instructions and recommendations during my time in Seward; I was able to go dog mushing due their recommendation which I did not previously find online so that was awesome! The room was very spacious, I stayed in the West room, with a queen bed, large couch, nice seating area, and lovely bathroom. Everything was perfectly maintained and clean upon my arrival. The kitchen, which was directly next to my room was perfectly curated with everything anyone could possibly need and I enjoyed a very late dinner there.

I have absolutely no complaints. Much more preferable to a normal hotel stay.

While most hotels in AK seemed a “little” worn out, The Vue was neat, clean, roomy and very centrally located. We loved the idea of a shared kitchen. Checkin was super easy and the room was spic and span! We would most definitely stay here again.

Family above us had kids and the running back and forth, jumping, etc definitely traveled thru the floor. Still it wasn’t a big deal as it was early evening - late morning and kids will be kids!

Perfect location and walking distance to everything in town. Gorgeous, well maintained property with stunning views. Our bed was super comfortable, the shower was hot and refreshing, and the kitchen had all the comforts of home.

No complaints. Everything was top notch and in perfect working order.

Location is ideal. Great coffee shop across the street. Laundromat next door. Easy walk into town. Close to harbor. Spectacular view of Resurrection Bay and glacial mountains!!

Shared kitchen is beautiful and very well appointed, but it does not really offer usable breakfast foods as advertised. Lots of open, partially used food products left in fridge and cupboards from prior guests, but not much in the way of individually sealed breakfast foods available... just some bulk cherrios and oatmeal packets, but no milk. Hard to know how fresh or safe leftover foods are.

Updated and clean. Comfortable bedding. Modern facility.

Stayed in lower unit and could hear every movement upstairs. A bit confusing on how to access the unit and where to store the luggage. I would not recommend if you have large bags and your plan is to catch a coach bus back to anchorage. You are better served by staying at a facility where the bus picks you up. Ubers are not reliable in the area.

Nice setup, clean and welcoming kitchen and house, easy parking.

Maps directions to the house took me from the backside. Suggest communicating the map location of the entrance door/parking would help visitors w/o any confusion.
