Palms Inn

Great little budget motel. Helpful guy at the checkin. Felt safe and clean. We were pulling a uhaul trailer and felt safe with it in the parking area right outside our room. Full fridge. Usually stay in Tucson on our trips toward San Diego but will definitely drive the extra hour and stay here again. Better value and weve had some sketchy experiences with the low tier hotels in Tucson...think La Quinta, Country Inn, etc.

Bed has strange metal pedestal that was easy to accidentally kick and made a huge twang. Lol

Very clean and tidy property located within easy walking distance to a convenience store and a Mexican restaurant. Size of the room was spacious with a microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom very clean with good water pressure and temperature in the shower. Parking right outside the room. We were in a building with 4 rooms - all arranged so your entrance was private. A/C was entirely adequate.

The beds had a metal platform under them than clanged whenever you foot hit them. The property doesn't look like much when you come off the highway. The A/C was a little hard to adjust until you figured out the trick (press up slightly on the button).

Our rental car broke down and it took Avis 12 hours to get another car to us. Mit let us stay on the property the entire time. He took care of our luggage all day and was most hospitable. If you're in Gila Bend, Palms 🌴 Inn is the place to stay. The hospitality can't be beat. The breakfast was good, coffee excellent and the room was comfortable. Don't miss this oasis in the desert!

clean room and bathroom

not so friendly staff at the morning. non-existent breakfast, only two prepackaged brioches, bottled orange juice which was sugared orange water and coffee. they put us in a room right on the street and you could hear all the traffic. maybe because we had booked with booking they put us in a noisy room?

Very responsive hosts, didn't have an issue with my late night arrival and provided breakfast personally when I was the only one present. Friendly, room was easily accessible and suitable for a quick night stay.

Could use a tissue box in the room.

It was very comfortable and clean. The internet in the room was not working very well and the front desk person was very nice and let me use the connection in the front office.

The only problem was the internet but it was my understanding that there is just not good service in the area of Gila Bend which is not the hotel's fault

We just needed a place to sleep. Reminded me of a ‘Route 66’ motor inn; a place to lay your head, nothing fancy. Just a clean, comfortable room. Great water pressure in the shower. We did not use the pool, but it looked and its area looked clean. Chose this hotel due to the good reviews.

We couldn’t get the wi-fi to work. Wasn’t a deal breaker; we just used our data plan. I have MS and have a service dog. Do not ask for a service/working dog’s ‘papers’.

Very clean room and very clean grounds. Manager was nice and helpful. Huge fridge for our ice and stuff, we were off roading and exploring. 2nd stay here, we will come back Restauraunts etc all with in short walking distance

Ice maker didnt seem to work. But we bought a bag, so no biggie

The Palms Inn is a good value and in good shape for an older motel, I like being able to park our bikes right in front of the room.

My only real complaint is there was no place to hang anything up. We had to put our jackets on the floor. Not even any towel bars... just 1 hook in the bathroom! Come on, at least put up a few more hooks!

This is a modest location, but quite sufficient and very reasonable. Gila Bend itself I does not offer many amenities.

I did not expect anything more, this is an ‘on the road‘ facility. I would have expected to pay more for any additional amenities.
