Deluxe Inn

It was a very cozy and comfortable room, and met my needs for my brief stay in this quaint area of Seligman Arizona. My furry family enjoyed the stay, and were comfy in their bed too.

Curtains, not blinds for the rear side of the hotel room which abuts another property (a field) that doesn't have privacy fencing. A little more privacy, other than that, great!

the manager was very nice and helpful, upgraded our room for no additional coast, the room was clean even tho is not new, it has this old school vibe

the only thing that bother me a bit was the town actually, really small, no fast food ou pharmacy around, is even a little creepy 😂 was all fine tho

I rated this motel excellent because I think it's important to compare "apples to apples" as they say. This is not part of a chain. It makes no pretense at being a high-end accommodation. In fact, it is small, quite simple, and looks rather 'rustic' and vintage and a trifle run down on the outside. In other words, not fancy. However, it is in a very small town with a sort of cool funky vibe, at the heart of the Route 66 corridor. I liked getting off the interstate a couple of miles and away from the hubbub. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with the necessary amenities. Good selection of TV channels, WiFi that worked, and across the street is the Roadrunner Diner and trading post for good food and lots of souvenirs. All in all, my stay was pleasant. I thought it was a little overpriced, but on the other hand, it felt safe and comfortable to be there.

It was awesome to stay in a historic place on Rte 66. The room was a lot like I remember as a kid traveling with my parents. Simpler times! The bed was comfy along with being clean. The room wasn't fancy, but it had the necessities that travelers today have come to expect. For a motel of this type (meaning historic), the owners have done a wonderful job updating

I liked that the rooms we spacious and that they had a microwave and fridge. I also appreciate that they were dog friendly

I didn’t like that the bathroom window had broken blinds, I think it can be replaced for privacy reasons.

The owner of the Deluxe Inn was lovely! She made me feel safe, since I was traveling alone and she gave me recommendations of places I should go to during my short stay in Seligan. There was also a little market that she recommended, where I bought some blackberry jalapeño jam and a little ol' squash! I was lucky that the town was quiet, though that is only due to COVID lightening up visitors. Otherwise it's a happening place. I'll definitely be coming to Seligman again and I will be staying at the Deluxe Inn!

Room was clean, shower was ckean, like that they have a refrigeratir and microwave. Stores and restaurants around. Staff was nice. They really open at 3pm for check in. We got there just a few minutes bfor 3. Theres a box to drop off the key on check out. We were here overnight before our Havasupai hike.

Clean, well maintained, comfortable bed, friendly staff. From the outside, the motel looks like a typical older establishment. But don't be fooled. Our room was newly appointed with new bathroom, new floor, tasteful decorations reminiscent of the 50s. The manager asked us where we had come from. When we told him that we had just driven from New Orleans in 2 days and had to be in San Francisco the next day, he upgraded us to a king room.

Little gem along Route 66 that took us back to a simpler time and place. Loved the retro furnishings and the radio playing classic songs from an earlier era. If you are traveling the Mother Road you have to stay at this motor lodge. Park right along side your unit. Take lots of pictures when it’s lit up at night! Fantastic, friendly service!

Wish there were more restored motor lodges like this one across the country!

Route 66 decorations in the room were very nice and we definitely recommend this place for staying in as you get the historic vibe from it. The owner is amazing to talk to! Plus there are many shops and restaurants right next to the motel and you can actually enjoy the ride on Route 66.

For light sleepers, the nearby railway might be a bit of a downside but for us it was romantic.
