Comfort Inn Monterey Park - Los Angeles

The property was fully clean and a very good size perfect for a couple ideally although I was travelling alone. There is free breakfast every morning which has a good area of choices. The staff are excellent and very helpful with whatever you would require. They’re all very friendly and I had a good time speaking with Oscar! I highly recommend this place for your travels to the LA area.

It is slightly out of the way to be able to travel into central LA although there are bus stops pretty much just outside which can take you to the train stations.

The Front Desk lady so rude... AGAIN

Free breakfast is available from 6:30am-9am. It includes waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, pastries, toast, coffee, orange juice, and cereal. They are always very accommodating when I book them for medical appointments and that includes letting me stay on the 1st floor due to my service dog coming with us. Also every room comes with a microwave and a fridge which helps with long stays. Amazing staff

The breakfast was excellent. I loved the automatic oatmeal machine. Very cool! It had hot foods and cold foods with a variety of choices on the breakfast. Interestingly, the breakfast room was located in the basement of the hotel. I loved the location of the hotel. It was located in an Asian community area however, the staff was very diverse. In todays world, I thought that was neat to see. It is very close to the Exposition park. The staff was very good about informing me what was going on that weekend at the park. It is located in an area right off the I10 not far from the downtown area called Monterey Park. I enjoyed the area. The room itself was quite comfortable.

The only disadvantage I can note is the cost. It was a bit costly. I needed a hotel close to my location and it fit my budget.

I like the location of this hotel. It is very convenient. I especially appreciate the staff who work in the front desk, worked on Aug. 22, 23, in the morning, and August 25 in the afternoon around 5 pm, she is very kind and caring. She even helped my daughter, she came from an air B &B, and got help from the staff. The staff worked on August 25 morning was also very kind, she helped me to reserve my bag till I came back to get it, because I needed to check out first and the flight was late in night. Thank you for providing a warm and excellent service to us!

Above expectation, super clean very exceptional

I did not like how I was treated by a staff member called Jackie. Very Unprofessional, I've never been treated so Unprofessional by a staff member at confort in. They always have great customer service except this time. Jackie Violated my rights. By opening my room and disturbing my privacy. And had me change from one room to the other with no advance notification so Unprofessional. Confuse about the Policy. Very unrespecful........

Cozy room, clean and comfortable

This is an older property but well maintained. Our room was spacious, bed very comfortable, shower pressure strong and hot. And the daily complimentary breakfast was excellent, one of the best we've had. We'll definitely be returning whenever we visit family in Monterey Park.

The breakfast was very good, hot options as well as cereal, yogurt etc.

Would like to see a hook or towel bar in the shower room.

The localization, the view and cleanliness. It has an easy access to all the locations around the city. The room’s is moderate, but it has all the basic we needed: microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge and hair blower.

The breakfast: for those who enjoy a fresh breakfast will be disappointed with a microwaveable burrito, a muffin, a granola bar, an apple and a bottle of water. Also, the faucet in the bathtub was dripping water all day long.
