Mid City Inn & Suites Pico Rivera

This was my first time staying at Mid-City Inn, and I have to tell you, I was very surprised, after reading some of the previous reviews that were negative, I didn't experience any of that, it was the opposite, everything went very well including the room, management, the location, the comfort level, definitely worth coming back

there's not much, not to like, everything went well, for the exemption of the occasional slam door or the neighbor that won't go to bed till 3 in the morning, which I guess you're always going to run into, aside from that it was a very pleasant experience.

My room was very clean and quiet. There was a beautiful hand painted mural on the ceiling of flying birds and clouds. I can only comment on parking during the week my stay was Monday-Thursday, but never had an issue with parking close to my room. Fridge was great. Tons of electrical connections. Felt safe, great location in a good neighborhood with restaurants close by and very easy freeway access. If you need to go to locations in various directions in the LA area, this location is roughly located in the middle of the metropolitan area.

Microwave plate did not rotate. AC occasionally made a fluttering sound, but not enough to disrupt sleep.

over all it was a great experience and clean.

When I arrived I rand the bell and no one came to the window. I had to call the landline in order for someone to respond. For a “non-smoking room”, the room smelled like cigarettes and there was burned holes on the sheets. while at check out, there was a woman ahead of me and she was having a personal conversation with the employee. Took a few min before the employee told her to move to the side so he can assist me.

It was very clean and the bedroom was very big and spacious. There was also a microwave and mini fridge.

The bed was VERY hard. Tossed and turned a lot because we couldn’t get comfortable on it. The TV also didn’t have many channels and when we went to the guide it would say “no information” on every channel

I really liked that there was a refrigerator AND microwave. Other hotels I passed on booking with had one or the other....or NEITHER.

The beds are extremely hard. Not exaggerating at all but air mattresses are more comfortable. I could've had a better night's rest on the floor.

The night manager was super nice, did a good job. Room was updated and clean. Vending/ice machine available. Property well maintained. If I'm in the area again I will be back to stay.

The towels could have been softer.

The room was nice and big. It was clean! And having a fridge and microwave in the room was a bonus!

The only thing we didn't like were the beds- very hard and uncomfortable. But we only stayed one night, so we managed.

The cleanness of the rooms, cleaners stopped by everyday to clean.

The smell of cannabis the penetrated the room through the vent in the restroom. With a small baby it was not ideal.

They gave us plenty of towels and the room was nice, fridge and microwave was a great option to have.

The bathroom and towels were dirty and the elevator didn't work or maybe was slow, I couldn't wait 5 minutes when I could use the stairs.

Everything about it nice from the outside and it's clean from the inside all staff members are very nice I think the customer service is excellent they're very greeting very welcoming very nice motel overall

Umm there's no dislike I like everything about this motel I've been there three times and each trip I was completely satisfied great customer service great staff everything about it I like
