We had a great time! The owner is a great host. Tasty breakfast! Comfortable beds. The family suite was very nice, kids had a separate large room, we used the kitchenette. Event ought we had a day of heavy snow (out of 3) we had a lovely time in the Inn, in Cuchara and the lovely area. From the room we observed many wonderful bird species unfamiliar to us. Scenic ride was beautiful. Sandunes national park was interesting but quite cloudy and windy that day.

No blackout blinds, a few dusty spots in the otherwise clean room.

A quirky B&B in a unique location. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. A fun experience outside the norm. The town is very compact and interesting. A couple of good, fun restaurants within a short walk.

It's not really a dislike, but some people may not like that it is off the beaten track. But that's what makes it great!

The breakfast, served out on the creekside patio, was outstanding. The room was comfortable. Mike and Ray were friendly and provided great service. They are founts of information about the area, which is picturesque and charming.

There was nothing to dislike. This is an older property, basically a sturdy old home with well-designated upstairs rooms. It shows its age, but has been kept clean and comfortable.

Mike is a great host. We really enjoyed talking with him. He has such an interesting background and his long experience in the hospitality industry shows in how he takes care of his guests. He prepared an excellent gluten free breakfast to meet the needs of our family. Mike is deeply involved in the local community.

We stayed upstairs on the creek side. A suite is a one bedroom connected with a large room with queen bed and kitchen efficiency style. We opened the window to let in the naturally cool are and the sounds of a mountain stream. Was in a great location with a restaurant and bat less than 100 ft away. The breakfast was very nice and Mike is a very welcoming guy.

We had a great one-night stay. Room was huge, quiet and very comfortable. Mike cooked us a wonderful breakfast to order and we enjoyed his conversation. Perfect for a quiet weekend getaway.

Not an issue with the inn, but no restaurants were open nearby so we had to drive back to a different town for dinner. Possibly just the time of year we were there, but just a heads up for others.

I wish I had been more particular about the room situation when I booked it several months in advance. I was under the impression the creek would be visible from the unit and we would have a king size bed and ground level. We ended up being upstairs with no view and a small bed. The room layout with a full kitchen was not useful to us so our room was disappointing but not the facility itself, nor the host.

Everything was fabulous, including the breakfasts. The location was perfect, and our host, Mike, made us feel right at home. We hope to return sometime this fall. Couldn't find a nicer place to stay!!!

Beauty surrounds you here. The drive on Highway 12 was stunning. Compelling little town with a great big history. Gone to bed for the season. Mike made a terrific breakfast for us. and entertained us with his colorful past.

Not at all clean. Admittedly there is precious little help to be had in this COVID-ending era, but was glad the drinking glasses were wrapped!

Great Location.... Very knowledgeable owner about the area and local insights. Quality breakfast... Nice to see the owner is not as obsessed with COVID as so many others. Compared to other choices available on Booking.com this was a good value.

The room needs some easy updates. Light fixtures needing bulbs. Overall cleanliness could be better. King bed was too soft and springy for our comfort.
