Steinhatchee River Inn and Marina

Location and amenities were awesome.

Had a great stay for 6 of the nights. Went south when the owner accused us of squatting due to a front office mistake. Simple mistake but him approaching my wife and rudely asking her if we just planned on staying until they threw us out was completely uncalled for. We have stayed there before and love the staff and the location, but probably won't be back or recomend the place after this. JA also never appoligized after realizing their mistake. He might consider staying away from the day to day operations as he doesn't have the temperament to deal with the people that are supporting his business.

I like the location and the fact there was a pool and it was clean. The rooms were nice and clean.

We rented a suite with a kitchen/stove so we could cook breakfast. We wasn’t able to cook because of the fire alarm constantly going off just from the steam. Nothing was burning. I didn’t like the dogs that were in the pool. or the dogs that people had just running around inside the fence at the pool. I also didn’t like there were people coming from outside the fence from behind the hotel and walking into rooms and out of the rooms and back out the gate. The rooms are dark even with the lights on. the lights are very dim.

The inn is located in a very good location, right across from the Marina. There is an ample amount of parking for cars and boats. The room we booked had a king-size bed a separate living room with a refrigerator and a microwave. The room was very clean. We were able to bring our dog, the dog fee is very reasonable. If you're looking for a clean motel that is close proximity to the marina and other restaurants, this motel will meet your expectations.

The hotel is always amazing! The staff is great. They refresh your room daily and are always helpful.

Boat rentals need to be upgraded. They are out dated and the worst boat we have ever been on that we ended up turning it in after the first day instead of keeping it for our entire stay.

Very clean ! Staff was friendly and helpful. The stay relaxing and peaceful. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Apartment size fridge with freezer, coffee maker with coffee and condiments. Large room with an excellent large tv . Charcoal grills with picnic tables . Cozy fire pit . Great property and staff . We will be back .

Excellent location for the price, across the street from the Steinhatchee River Inn Marina. An easy walk from room to the bait shop and marina. Centrally located in the town, which made it very easy to navigate to the grocery and liquor store as well as the Sea Hag Marina. We traveled there for scallop season and had a blast catching bay scallops in Dead Mans Bay.

The parking was cramped at times, so good luck getting a spot in front of your room during scallop season. Once someone got a spot in in front of the building most would not move vehicle until they departed. And if they did another guest was ready to get the parking spot. Other than that it was all good,

This was a lovely 2 story motel. We had a room on the second floor with 2 king beds (comfy) a large refrigerator, microwave and a coffee pot. Chairs, a small dining table and a loveseat completed the living space. Outside the room there were chairs and a small table if you wanted to sit out. Very clean. Super staff. Very cozy and quaint. The grounds were nicely maintained. The pool looked very nice, unfortunately it was chilly the only day we were there so we didn’t have a chance to check it out.

My only wish is that there was A/C in the living area or a ceiling fan. Even with the bedroom door open it was pretty warm in the living/dining area and bathroom. The A/C unit in the bedroom works great for the bedroom only.

The room was very spacious with a separate living area and bedroom down the hall. Didn't expect that at all, it had great amenities so you could stay for extended vacation with no problem! Great place...clean, quiet and so comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The owners were nice and the pool was clean. The outside was a really nice relaxing place.

I don’t like that they allowed dogs to go in the pool or let them run around the fenced in area of the pool.
