Maui Beach Hotel

Overall experience was positive. The view was espectacular. Free Shuttle to and from airport, they can take you 3 miles around the hotel ( cortesy) . Close to a mall, close places to eat. Very convenient :inside restaurant for breakfast, ( reasonable price, loved the hawaiian coffee (free refill) Real orange juice. They have a post of Hertz rental car( very convenient) Pool ok. Room was nice size, spotless. Amenities as described. A little old hotel, but excellent maintenance. Spectacular views ..definitely we are coming back..already posted my pict and..our friends want to come too. Making plans to come back, soon.

Clean room, good coffee in the morning, nice toiletries. Hotel grounds are lovely with a beach.

Didn't like the surprise "facility" charge. I think it was about $30 per night.

we liked the proximity to the beach and airport. their outside area is also very nice with games, fire pits and cool round giant chairs.

we didn’t like that the keycards often didn’t work or took many tries. we had to go back to the front desk a few times and saw other guests doing the same thing. the front desk person also told us with the storm the road to Hana would likely close, got us all worried, but then when we talked to a couple other locals they laughed at this and reassured us that the road to Hana only closed extremely rarely. it was totally fine for us. other staff was great.

I enjoyed the clean room, I enjoyed the cute balcony, I also liked how they provided a laundry room to clean your clothes. I'm also satisfied that the hotel provides a shuttle bus to and from the airport.I also love the fact that they had a mall across the street, along with easy access busses for only $2 a ride. I took the #20 bus to Lahaina Beach it was nice.

I did not like the fact that a continental breakfast was not available and that the only option in the hotel was the expensive buffet. On the 2nd floor. Luckily there was another hotel next door that was serving breakfast/ lunch and dinner.

The grounds and gardens were neatly kept, all the staff were friendly and very obliging. We were surprised to find we needed to request our room to be serviced which wasn’t mentioned when checking in. The restaurant left a lot to be desired. Very limited choice for the breakfast buffet and when we went to the restaurant to have dinner at opening time no one was there despite the door being open so we ended up going next door to Tante’s at Maui Seaside hotel and had a lovely meal. A big plus was the free airport shuttle. A great recommendation from a staff member for Marco’s restaurant a short drive away.

The room was clean and the staff was absolutely wonderful. The patio and deck chairs on the lawn are perfect. The location is out of the tourist fray with easy access to major roadways.

I booked and paid for an ocean view room and could see a wedge of ocean but mostly parking lot and waste bins. Essentially none of the rooms are actually ocean facing. We only had 2 towels and there were no extra blankets. Parking is a bit of a trek to the front doors. We were dissapointed that we paid more for a view that was largely industrial

Nothing specifically about the property, however, we booked a room with balcony. The room we got did not have a balcony and when we went to reception we were told a balcony was not guaranteed but we could pay to upgrade and get one. Although we did this it was disappointing especially as we chose the hotel and room because it included a balcony.

Used a room for a "day stay" before a red eye back to the mainland. Close to OGG. They were installing new wall / window AC units so a bit of noise during the day (took away the day nap prior to departure but they got to work sometime just would of been nice to know ahead of time). Staff was very friendly and attentive. Property is clean and as well as a hotel can look being that age.

nice location, is very clean, and amazing coffee at the front desk, a shuttle bus to the airport every hour, a rental car if you need it, the restaurant at the hotel, and right next to it. I was able to do my laundry right at the hotel

I didn't like the pool boring looking, and the pool bathroom was not well maintained

Location close to airport. There's no beach, and the "Ocean View" is of a shipping yard. There's a nice lawn.

HIDDEN FEES BOOKING.COM doesn't tell you about. The hotel charges a RESORT FEE, PARKING FEE, and FEE for WiFi. BOOKING.COM SAYS THOSE FEES ARE INCLUDED AND THEY ARE NOT. EXPECT TO PAY A LOT MORE THAN WHAT BOOKING.COM tells you are total cost will be.
