Super 8 by Wyndham Salmon

Nice property. Good location close to downtown Salmon making it possible to walk to stores and shops. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Pretty much what I would expect at a Super 8. The breakfast was pretty good but did not offer a lot of variety.

Overall, the property was a pleasant place to stay. No complaints about the facility or the staff. I felt, however, that it was not the best value. I have stayed at much nicer places with nicer rooms and a better breakfast offering for far less money.

I liked the cleanliness of the property and the room. The day had been spent in the heat and it was nice to come into a cool room.

When I scheduled the room I requested early arrival for 2:00 pm. I had driven 6 1/2 hours and wanted to freshen up before going to a memorial for a deceased family member. The request had been approved and I had the conformation email. Barbara who was working the front desk would not look at my email and told me she had not received any early check in requests. She Absolutely would not let me check in early.

The view of the mountains from the street side rooms is spectacular.

When we stayed here earlier this year, the breakfast included oatmeal packets, peanut butter packets and boiled eggs, none of which were available this time. I would be nice if there were protein options other than the sausage gravy.

i was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the breakfast and the way it was presented. the variety of the food offered was very good. The fact that you presented everything individually wrapped was perfect. The breakfast was fresh and even alittle early each morning. I liked having a sliding glass door out to my car from the room.

I have no complaints to share. For the type of hotel and location I got more than I expected.

Breakfast was much better than anticipated, with both hot and cold options. The person responsible for maintaining the food was fantastic.

There is limited space to sit for breakfast, there really isn't a dining room. However, they do the best they can with the space available. We stayed two nights, but housekeeping never came into our room to empty the trash or bring a clean towel.

Breakfast was okay, the rooms were great tho and we appreciated the quietness and the patience of the other people staying when our kids did get a bit loud. The hotel was conveniently located in town and we loved being able to walk to the island park

Breakfast could have been better but other than that things were great we did have to come ask for more sugar and creamer for the bedroom coffee though

The employee that was working the front desk at time of check-in was talking on a cell phone ignoring myself and 2 other guest trying to check-in. She also messed up our CC. TV remote did not work had to put my own batteries in it to make it work. Front desk person did not have a clue and had no batteries.

The breakfast was ready and we'll stocked everything was good. The hotel was quiet and staff were nice.

Ice outside building had cones but somewhat slippery from ice dripping from roof near the door. The staff told me she was sorry and was nice to warn me though.

Room was very nice. Well decorated with refrig and m/w. Very clean. Breakfast offerings were fine.

Staff was not rude, but said almost nothing. When I said I was checking out, she said nothing and a minute later, she handed me my receipt. The breakfast room had only three tables with three chairs each. Not nearly enough.

I would stay again. Comfortable, very clean, spacious, quiet. Carpet was clean but ready for Replacement

Could not get captions to work on the TV, but wasn't really anything worth watching
