Super 8 by Wyndham Centerville

Coffee was terrible OJ was so watered down it was undrinkable ... no apple juice in the juice dispense at all .. Waffles were good ... 4 dried up clementine oranges were the only fruit offered ... and were still there the second morning ... bread but no toaster (cleaning staff did located one when asked) ... had to ask for milk for cereals ... biscuits & gravy (2 mornings) were decent The electric plug at the sink area of Room 113 did not work ... therefore the hair dryer was not working The bed / mattress was a pillow top (new) and very comfortable... over all I was a bit pleasantly suprised with the motel ... had always stayed at the Westbridge (down the street) in Centerville during previous trips Super 8 will now be my first choice when making reservations in Centerville IA

Breakfast

The facility was very clean. The staff was friendly. It was close to places to eat.

The pillows was flat and uncomfortable. There was also only 2 pillows per room . There was very little breakfast selection. The bathroom had no space for wheelchair transfers . The shower wasn't very disabled accessible.

The Bed was comfortable. The satellite tv had lots of channels including premium channels. The biscuits and gravy at breakfast were amazingly good.

We could hear our upstairs neighbors every time they walked across the floor. The walls are thin and our neighbors in the room beside us were very loud. The hotel seems dated and the value for what you get isn’t great

grandkids loved the room decor, large photo of a farm with a tractor!

Not enough towels for 3 people-had to go get extra. Stayed 2 nights. Room was not cleaned-no trash taken out or clean towels. Had to go to return dirty towels to front office before they would give you clean towels. Was not told at checkin that room wouldn’t be cleaned or fresh towels brought in. No discount given for not cleaning room for second night stay. Both morning there was not much hot food available. We were able to make 3/4 of a waffle for 4 of us to share. Coffee was okay

I was very pleasantly surprised to see the improvements that are being made. There were several good choices of breakfast items. I appreciate the breakfast hours. The staff we met at the front desk were very kind and helpful.

There wasn’t muchI didn’t like. Even though the price is comparable to other motels, there should be a higher reduced rate for seniors.

It was O. K.

We went out for the day only to come back to a room unmade & not cleaned & no fresh towels. Have not traveled since COVID & waS NOT AWARE they would not do these things.

Breakfast was better than 90% of the other post c19 places I've been. Choices of biscuits and gravy and waffles.
