Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Holstein

It was located right off the highway which made it extremely easy to find. The staff were some of the kindest people I've encountered. They were very helpful not only with myself and my kids but also with my brother and his wife & kids. The facility was clean and the beds were comfy.

I do not really have a complaint. The only thing I could say that may have posed as a problem was the height of the beds. My kids didnt happen to fall off them but I did place pillows around them so they wouldn't fall. Not a huge deal in my eyes but could pose a problem to those that have very little, Littles or elderly folks. All around though, the place was pretty awesome!

The bed was the most comfortable one I've slept in in quite a while (and we stay in hotels across Iowa quite a bit with going to our daughter's college competitions). The breakfast also had numerous choices, which was surprising and much appreciated! It was available until 10 AM which we were thankful for!

Darker window coverings maybe, just to be able to sleep a little longer in the morning. Otherwise all ok!

We honestly lucked out with this hotel. We tried to make it as far as we could on our 12 hour trip home and this hotel was about as far as we wanted to go with three little ones. They still had a family suite available in the late evening hours and we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice it was. Check-in was a breeze and we had a very quiet, very spacious room. We all slept great. The breakfast was a great selection and all 5 of us found something to eat.

We only wish we could have stayed a little longer and relaxed.

I stay at hotels every week. I have a check list of things that either make or break a stay and this facility nailed nearly all of them. Clean, well maintained, well thought out room - check. Coffee in the room as well as in the lobby (Seattle's Best to boot)-check. Friendly people working at the front desk - check. Bathroom well laid out with ample towels, good water pressure and above standard amenities with sufficient hangers to hang used towels - check. Good, well lit parking lot in safe area - check. Ample information, in the room, of local restaurants and local attraction along with a television channel guide - check. Well stock,, reasonably priced vending machines - check. And finally, the most important of all, a heating and cooling system that has "constant fan" setting to create white noise to minimize interruption to sleep due to noisey neighbors - check. I do not usually leave reviews so that should tell you some about this hotel.

The room was clean and the property was well maintained. We got in late after a flight from Omaha and didn't want to drive the whole way home that night and were so surprised to have such a nice hotel to stay at on the way home. The person who checked us in was coming out to take a break and didn't seem annoyed that she had to go back in to check us in and check-in was pretty fast. The breakfast was good for this type of hotel.

The only thing I would change was the check-out process since no one was at the front desk so I was unsure what to do so I just put my key upon the desk. A box to put the keys in would be nice. But it wasn't a big deal. Times have changed where a lot of things are now self-service. I am just used to having someone to check out with and asking how the stay was.

Typical motel breakfast but they did have some variety!! Stayed two nights, one morning was biscuits and gravey with sausage and second morning was ham slices and real eggs that was awesome!!!

Coffee had grounds floating around in it from the little pump dispenser and the orange juice dispenser wasn't working. They did however provide OJ from a container in the fridge but I didn't realize that till the second day.

Everything in this facility was clean and in perfect working order. The shower was amazing!! The beds super comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows! The breakfast has plenty of options and an attendant do nothing tan out. The staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. And though it was in a small town it was situated conveniently to other businesses. Will definitely be back !

There was nothing I did not like!

Breakfast was fine. I'm not a big breakfast person but having it available was great. Also enjoyed the coffee.

I thought the price of the room was a little high, but this is conveniently located for my trip.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is comparible to Hampton Inn and Fairfield Inn..good and served very early..a definite plus.

Very nice hotel. Very clean and excellent amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Next door is a travel center gas station, eats, and convenience shopping. Across the street is a golf course and a wonderful walking or running course. I would definitely come again.

Nothing really except wish there was more around to visit.
