Super 8 by Wyndham Nebraska City

We had been spending a lot of time in hotels because we were traveling across the country and back, so we were making reservations in economy hotels. Most were ok, but often a bit run down and sometimes grimy and nigh on to non-functional. Relatively speaking, this hotel was excellent. It was clean, everything worked (tv, faucets, curtains, etc.), and the staff we met were efficient.

The breakfast room was totally lacking in character - so much so that we moved on without so much as trying the coffee. Might have been good - who knows - but some fresh fruit and a picture or two would be helpful.

The young lady that checked me in was fabulous. She was the only one working and a major rain storm had come in. She was dealing with checking in folks, keeping the water out of the lobby and mud everywhere. I guarantee you that some people would've thrown their arms up and cried. She was a real trooper. As for the room, the beds were extremely comfortable. The room was clean and was a great deal overall.

The parking lot and truck stop in front were loaded with semis. Nothing bad, just remember that when you get there.

Breakfast not provided

No pool. Not much to choose from for breakfast. They had waffle, cereal, bread. Would have been nice to have yogurt, hard boiled eggs or fruit. Could smell marijuana in the hallway when we came in.

Very affordable. And location was nice

There was boogers on the wall above the toilet paper. We didn't complain. It is what it is.

It wasn't really in nebraska city. Percival Iowa instead. It was late at night and we didn't know the area. Confusing not being in the town it says when we booked.

Zack, was very accommodating. When our room wasn't what we ordered, he adjusted our price to compensate!

Our room was supposed to have a full size fridge and didn't! Back door to the hotel needed some love. wouldn't close! Lots of big trucks everywhere!!

could use a couple of other choices like cereal etc.

the bathtub water was yellow because of some rust but they had a flood not long ago so I think they are still working on those issues.

good value with easy check in

we just noticed their pet policy has changed…they are no longer allowed so unfortunately we won’t be staying her again

Convenient location and fair price for our local event. Appreciated breakfast.

Outside area -lawn and parking area could be spruced up. I do realize that this area was flooded in previous years and applaud you for your comeback.
