Ramada by Wyndham Paintsville Hotel & Conference Center

The openness of the Hotel, all the common areas with comfortable chairs in the atrium and the random tables, chairs and couches in the upper areas are a great option when with a small group to socialize outside of your room setting. ALL of the staff from the desk to housekeeping to restaurant & lounge staff to maintenance and janitorial (and I interacted with all) were great. Steph at the front desk is perfect for that job. The current management has done a great job of bringing the place back into its original grander.

for the room rate, I was disappointed that a complimentary breakfast was not offered, but I do get it, with having a full-service restaurant in house.

The lounge where they had breakfast was good. The food was good and the staff was extremely nice.

The issues we had was with the restaurant, Honey Bees, which I'm told is not owned by Wyndam. We had to wait 20 minutes for a steak or a baked potato. Really, 20 minutes. One of us didn't like the food.(they didn't cook the steak rare and it was tough).They didn't tell us about the senior discount which applied to one in our party. They put marshmallows on my baked sweet potato that I did not order (I do not like marshmallows) and then tried charge me for it. We wanted a takeout and they charged a service fee of 10% after we ate there and spent about $85-90. They would not remove the charge starting "everyone pays it". So we didn't get a dessert.

The facility it's self is very nice and very clean. The staff was very friendly, but I'm NOT surprised, given the location. People from that location are VERY nice and VERY friendly. That's one reason that I LOVE to visit there.

The only thing a little disappointing was that on the site, when we booked, it said that breakfast was included. It was not. Instead we received a bit breakfast that was paid for. Also, it would have been nice if the restaurant adjacent to the hotel would have been open.

The staff was incredibly friendly. Stephanie at the front desk went out of her way to make sure me and my family were taken care of. My children loved the pool. The hotel interior was beautiful!

We had an incredible stay! The only negative thing was the beds were so uncomfortable. New mattresses and pillows are the only thing that could have made this stay better.

.This hotel is such a treasure to this little town. It has an awesome area to entertain the kids plus areas for adults. We have stayed many times and it gets better every time. The pool area is amazing

The front desk staff struggled with check out procedures. It could have been that the staff person was new.

The hotel is very pretty and since we were at the end of the hall there was very little noise. Staff was friendly and even suggested where we could get something to eat once we realized the time was wrong on the website for the on site restaurant. Word of advice, everything but fast food is closed by 10pm including pizza places.

The pool was rather cold given its an indoor/outdoor pool. We expected the water to be a bit warmer. It was very crowded and the kids were very loud. The hot tub is way to small for a hotel this size. If 4 people are sitting in the hot tub it feels very crowded.

The staff is so friendly and the hotel with all the resources are clean and well maintained. We love the gaming area, the gazebo and the common areas to relax, work, or play games.

At the time we stayed, the restaurant was not open due to staff shortages but we’ve eaten there in the past and loved it!

Everything was exceptionally perfect. Couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay. Restaurants were both delicious. All the staff was so friendly

That you had to pay $10 extra for your company to use the pool and for the price we paid I thought the breakfast was complimentary but you had to pay for that as well.

The staff was very friendly and I loved the pool. It is very family friendly
