Cotton House, Cleveland, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The room was clean, organized, well lighted and somewhat spacious. Love the restaurant downstairs, employees and patrons were very nice and polite.

For the price per night the room should have included a microwave and a refrigerator. Just in case you wanted to bring food/drinks to your room during your stay. You might not want to mingle with anyone.

Breakfast was not provided, but was available for purchase in the boutique shop in the lobby. There was no complementary coffee in the lobby, but there was a Keurig in the room

There was no mini fridge in the room, we had to ask for real glasses in the room, we ask for a late check out, but upon returning to the room 20 minutes prior to the late checkout of noon,someone was in the room cleaning it. I had high expectations for this hotel as I was told there was nothing like it in the Delta, as a frequent traveler one expects certain amenities and level of service. This didn’t feel like a good value for dollars spent.

The location was close to a lot of eateries and things to do during our stay. The hotel was very nice and the room was spacious. They have two onsite restaurants which can save you a trip from leaving the hotel, however we didn't utilize the restaurants during our visit.

What could have been better was the room at least having a microwave or fridge. A swimming pool would have been nice as well. Especially in Mississippi hot weather. It didn't ruin our stay, we had a great time. There were a lot of hair in the shower, but used a paper towel and cleaned it out. You have to request cleaning if you are staying multiple days. You have to use your room key to have access to the elevators.

All the staff was very helpful and very polite! It’s a beautiful hotel for a wonderful price. Loved the fact that they are pet friendly. I was able to bring my dog with me. There are a lot of shops in front of the hotel. The walking path is AMAZING. We also went to the train museum down the road and that was a major hit. Best thing, it’s free to get in. Then we went to the Grammy museum, not to expensive to get it, and that was awesome! If I ever go back to the town, I will most definitely be staying here again!!! Best experience ever! Especially traveling with a 1 year old and a dog. Would recommend this hotel to ANYONE!!!

The only bad thing was the “bar-restaurant” on the 5th floor. The menu was very small only 4 things to pick from. We are a very picky family when it comes to eating lol. I would’ve loved to eat outside, but it was kinda crowded. Other than that, everyone working there was polite and nice. Ended up going to 301 right next door, good food, very pricey and wasn’t impressed.

I love the wood floors in the room because I don’t like hotel rooms with carpet because it smells. It’s always clean here. I always stay here when I visit home

The restaurant located in the hotel, their food could’ve been better. It was okay but not good. It used to be good a couple of years ago don’t know what happened.

We have been staying at this hotel since it opened. The staff is consistently friendly & helpful. The location is perfect! Love being on the town square.

We stay for multiple days/nights when we come in for a Delta State Swim meet & are always disappointed over the lack of breakfast at the hotel. The other 2 mid-scale hotels in town have a simple hot or continental breakfast 7 days a week. It would be another special detail the Cotton House could offer especially with the lack of restaurant options open on Sunday Mornings.

The location is great. It is within walking distance of a little shopping center, and it is not too far from restaurants. I've stayed at this hotel twice, and I will stay again when it is time for me to go back to Cleveland.

There was entirely too much hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. I only stayed one night, so I did not complain. However, I will make a complaint if it happens again. I have stayed here before and did not have that issue.

The hotel was attached to the delta meat market which had a decently priced breakfast option with delicious food. The bar upstairs was also great and the bartenders were had great customer service

Not a family friendly hotel. No microwave or refrigerator in the rooms, only showers in every room. Very hard with young children

nice, clean, modern

This is a 4star hotel and part of Marriott group. it is terrible that they dont offer a breakfast at all. just crunchbars at recption for pick-up. i was there the 2nd time because it it is the only decent hotel in Cleveland. it had to go to a grocery store in the evening prior to buy myself a breakfast for next day. simply unbelievable that there is a pricy hotel that does not even give a muffin.
