Drury Inn & Suites St Joseph

Very easy to find and the breakfast was great! Front desk was very helpful when the room refrigerator seemed to be too warm. There was a boil order so ice wasn't available for our small cooler. They got us some ice from the breakfast bar area to keep our food cold. They offered to change our room but we were too lazy. :) The room was clean and quiet. I liked the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower. Saves on those silly plastic single use containers.

I can't really think of anything that could have been better. The service was great as was the breakfast. We have stayed in 6 hotels during out trip and this one was the best by far.

The room and bed were clean, did not use shower or bath products, towels also were clean. Staff were all very nice and helpful, and we were able to bring my small dog with no issues. We booked very last minute as we didn't plan to stay the night, but they handled it with grace.

The breakfast is my only complaint. It's more about me being picky than anything else, everything was horribly bland, and I'm sure they have to make it that way because some people think salt and pepper is "spicy" but it was definitely more bland than my usual hotel breakfasts. With that said, they did have a ton of options to choose from, even for the 30-minutes-before-its-over crew

Locaion was very convenient - close to all kinds of restaurants, shopping, etc. Breakfast area is wonderful - food was very good...better than others we've had. Staff was very friendly --- every housekeeper we saw greeted us and interacted a little.

New rooms are great...but the vanity in the bathroom is small and the big kleenex box cover takes up most of the space. I put it under the sink and then we had room for our toiletries on the vanity.

I love the welcoming atmosphere and the extremely friendly staff at the hotel! The beds are incredibly comfortable! The free dinner, drinks, and breakfast are great and such a wonderful benefit of staying at the Drury!

I don't normally have any issues, but I did have a dirty hand towel in my room. No big deal, I just set it aside and didn't use it. Everything else was wonderful as usual!

Room was exceptionally clean. Beds were so comfortable. Slept like a baby. Plenty of USB and outlets in room. Location was great. It was next to a bbq place, gas station, and a lot of other business and restaurants nearby. Neighborhood was safe. Staff was very nice and they even offered some pulled pork sandwiches and 3 free drinks at the bar! Breakfast was hot and fresh. Everything tasted good!

Nothing.

For being right off the interstate 29 it was super quiet! I didn’t even hear other people in the hotel leave, close doors or talking in the hallway. When we got up 90% of everyone who was there was gone and we didn’t even hear a peep!

The a/c was hard to figure out there was the panel but also the controller on the wall. It did cool down quickly when we did get it figured out

The staff was awesome The room was great , my husband was having some medical issues so we spent more time than usual in our room It was great to have the two meals offered

I’m sad I didn’t catch her name, but she was working Saturday night 4/15/23 around 8:00. She was absolutely fabulous and upgraded our room after seeing our rambunctious toddlers running the lobby. You can tell she is a caring employee, and we appreciated her so much. We were sad the pool was down, but will be returning due to the caring service we had at check in. Thank you all so much again!

Easy check-in. Friendly and positive greeting when checking in. The supper and breakfast meals were very good. The cleanliness of the facility and the eating areas were exceptional. The workers were some of the best that I have met through my travels. The room had everything needed for a good night sleep. Bed was comfortable. I will definitely book here again.

Hotel was very convenient to the city's amenities and was perfect for our needs. The breakfast offerings were beyond what I had expected for a 'free' breakfast. Hot items were hot and cold items were appropriately cold. Coffee was not my favorite!

Disappointed in the overly 'hard' bed. Room was a little crowded with 2 beds, furniture, chairs and then our 'stuff'. Lighting overall was a little dark. This facility is aging gracefully but needs a few updates. Lightbulbs could help.
