Hidden Lake Resort

It was not a planned stay. I looked for motels in the area. The price was right, the staff were pleasant, I let the motel know I would be arriving after 9pm. When I arrived I checked in went to my room. The motel had a Bar, billard tables, the latest in games and karaoke I decided to check it out. It was just what I needed to unwind from the day I had. I would stay there again.

There was suppose to be a fridge in the room. I didn't need it so it wasn't a as big of deal. But because it said it had one and didn't, I was a little disappointed.

Everything about this place was awesome! Checking in was easy lady that checked me in was super nice very helpful. My fiancee locked our keys in the room around 10pm while we stepped out for a minute went around front where a lady pointed me in the right direction to someone that could help me they got me another key and told me not to worry about giving it back until I checked out the next morning. They are very supportive of veterans. I love love love this place. And am definitely coming back on my next future trips! Thank you so much!

There was absolutely nothing I didn't like about this stay this place is amazing!

The lady at the desk was very friendly. Staff brought items missing in the unit right away. Everyone was very friendly. The TV was ROKU, which we use at home, so that was very pleasant. The unit was much bigger than we expected, plus a small refrigerator, microwave and coffeepot. We ate at The Landing Bar and Bistro in Warsaw, and it was excellent with great staff, masks, outdoor dining, Tiffany was very helpful and nice.

Masks seemed to be unheard of or verboten at the lodging. Quite a drive, approx 12 miles, to Warsaw, we should've checked that out before. Bar/restaurant was smoking and unmasked, wouldn't eat there. A lodger must realize this is an eclectic place that caters to bikers, motorhomes, fishing boat trailers, campers, a wide gamut of activity, plus pets. Noise will happen, and smells--fish cleaning station--and it's very rural, so bugs are outside your door, waiting to come in. As for the area, Truman Dam Visitor Center and Lost Valley Fish Hatchery were both close due to COVID, though classes were still going on at the hatchery, and lots of the town weren't adhering to any precautions. Welcome to MO!!!

I love how quiet it was and how the staff and others really left us alone due to the fact we had the do not disturb sign on our door. We just really loved it here. Best place we have stayed at so far. I give it an A++++!!!!

There's nothing that we didn't like.

It is a very neat place to stay. Especially if you are wanting to have some fun. They have a restaurant and a bar. Both are very nice. Our room was cozy and had a rustic feel. It was clean. They also did not charge a deposit which was nice. We will go back when we are in the area again.

I really don’t have much to complain about. Overall good experience. Especially for the price.

Close to location I was visiting for the price was a little much.

Dusty, filter on AC needed cleaning or changed, wifi was terrible.plud ROKU TV, was hard to find channels to.watch. when you found a station the wifi acted up all the time

The staff was very friendly!! The woman that runs the place hats off to her she went above and beyond to help me with my dad! She helped me even load his hoverround with an injured wrist.

The staff here works very hard to make you feel wanted and comfortable! This is a great place to stay when coming down to the outdoors and the lake. I stay here all the time. The food in the attached Bar and Grill Restaurant is excellent and the staff is friendly. Very kind people! I stay here 8nto 10 times a year.

A permanent camper resident had dogs that barked anytime we walked by. they should be fined.

I like the king size room. It felt homie. They even have dishes and silverware in the cabinet above the sink. We really enjoy staying there and the fish cleaning station is a plus. Oh, and I can't forget the food! Great friendly people.

Thats a hard one... Maybe the road in and parking lot. It's pretty ruff, but it looks like they are working on it.
