Great location only 5 minutes from the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Extremely clean. They obviously take pride in keeping the rooms nice. Excellent Wi-Fi. Pet friendly. Cooke City is a laid back community. Not overpopulated at all. Chad will always let you know what wildlife is in the area. He let us know where a grizzly with cubs was one morning. If you’re coming for wildlife viewing inside or outside the park this is the place to be!

It’s hard to name anything I didn’t like.

This hotel did not provide breakfast but there was coffee and that was nice. Chad who was the front desk person was very helpful and suggested places to eat and answered all my questions. Every restaurant we tried was excellent. It's a super quaint and beautiful town in the mountains. It was a necessary stop after a long drive out of Yellowstone Park but very much a gem.

Well when we first got into our room it smelled like pee in the bathroom. Everything looked clean. But there were two plungers. We found out on our last morning that the toilet plugged and had to use the plungers. It's an old hotel but very well kept and I think it's probably not unusual to expect some issues at this high altitude and isolated area.

Well maintained motel considering the age! Definitely had the Western Vibe! Convenient location. Individual motel rooms are quite small, but nice. No issues with noise or privacy. Room attendants were professional and accommodating. Beautiful flowers outside each room with chairs for fresh air. Yellowstone entrance is close to motel. Would definitely stay here again. Price was fair! Everyone in town was friendly and helpful with eating, recommendations, driving tips, etc.

Ice Machine sat empty for several days. Bath towels are very small and worn thin. Hard to find anyone available in the office. Wifi did not work at all. Still enjoyed our stay in the quaint town! Look forward to returning!

Loved the location. Beds were great! Wonderful little mountain village. Beautiful hanging baskets along the porches. Great view of the mountains through Lamar Valley from the second floor. On the second floor you could always leave your curtains and window open without worrying about a bear or privacy. There are pros to every location.

Didn't realize this was a 2 story building and that we had to request downstairs. Upstairs ended up being great for us since our grandson was along and could carry our luggage.

Our room was ready early and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. They had a brand new washer/dryer and doing a load of laundry was very easy - we needed this as we rode our bicycles to get here. All was as advertised and expected for a small mountain town! Also Cocoa the dog was hanging out in the lobby when we arrived and is very sweet. The motel doesn't serve breakfast (nor does any other motel in town), but we went to the coffee shop down the street which was wonderful.

The gentleman at the hotel desk was very friendly and so helpful in suggestions for food and travel. The room was modest but comfortable and a better price than most.

The welcome center and museum center down the street did not open as posted and expected. We waited for almost an hour past the expected opening and at least 2 prospective official people came and entered the building but did not open to the public. We were very disappointed.

Very welcoming staff. Wi fi is not great but they assisted us with a better connection that worked great outside under the cover by the office. And worked pretty good inside the room

Nothing. It was all nice. Perhaps a continental breakfast in the morning would have been good since no restaurants were open in Cooke City when we were there other than a breakfast burrito, which I definitely do not care for.

Spacious, clean and well-equipped room. Very nice surroundings, and the location just a few km from the NE entrance to the Yellowstone NP. Convenient parking directly in front of the room. Well-working wifi.

Noisy fridge that spoilt the tranquillity of the place. Besides, the motel was rather expensive (though probably all the properties in Cooke City are so).

The rooms are large, which was great for storage of luggage and all the extra food and gear we brought. The room was also spotless. I've never had a cleaner bathroom in a hotel.

Everything was great. There aren't really any amenities because it's Cooke City...which Is the feginition of small town USA, especially in the winter. I could have used more coffee pods...vit I'm sure if I would have asked I would get them. I just really didn't want to go out too much in the -12 degree weather.

The rooms were surprisingly large and comfortable. The location was great and the staff was very friendly. They had coffee for guests in the morning. Guests can pay to use the laundry facility as well.

The bathroom was a good size but could use some updating. There weren’t enough places to hang towels and clothes before and after showering.
