Monument Inn & Suites

The location was on a main street through town. It was very quiet though. Bed's were ok, but need to be replaced. Room was clean and check in was very quick and easy. Great place for a one night stay on the way to another destination.

Breakfast was sadly lacking... There were scrambled eggs but no other protein.... no biscuits or gravy or sausage. plenty of waffles or donuts,, cereal, etc. They could not keep the egg container filled and the young employee in charge of doing that was in the back, wearing headphones and wouldn't respond to anyone who was standing at the door to let him know it was empty. Someone finally told the front desk person and she went and made sure they were filled herself. One other thing that concerned me was that we could reach our room through a door on the outside of the hotel facing the main street. It was being propped open with a rock and folks were evidently coming in and out smoking... it wasn't secure and anyone could have gained access to the inside of the hotel.

Price was the main reason I chose this motel. I have stayed here 3 times over the past couple of years. It is always quiet and we are able to bring our dog for an extra fee. Night staff was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful. The motel is clean and comfortable with most amenities comparable to that of higher priced motels.

Breakfast is decent- not a ton of options and no fruit available. The juice machine wasn't working but there was no sign on it explaining that juice was available in the refridgerator under the counter. Another guest had to point that out. The outside walk did not get shoveled very well. The ice that formed from the snow piled up on either side of the single lane scoop created black ice on the scooped portion as the snow melted and refroze.

Breakfast was fantastic! Every single staff member was warm and friendly and helpful… I mean they definitely exceeded expectations ! I know that hotel is not exactly brand new anymore, but it is beautifully cared for. I rented a pet-friendly room; it was perfectly clean with absolutely no indication of another pet having been in that room; that’s how well they clean. I also appreciate the doggie waste bags at the south doors. Really nice experience

I’m not sure how the hotel staff could alleviate this; but the small children shrieking down the hallway at 5:45 am, followed by parents yelling at them, only to be repeated on the way back to their rooms an hour later… it happened both mornings we were there… I was over it.

Need handicap room for raised toilet and bars so that was good

Handicap bathroom has only a tiny shelf above sink to put 'stuff'....need a little table or something similar and a hook to hang pj's & robe would be nice Shower hadn't been cleaned as there was a used bar of soap on floor that could have caused a serious slip or fall Breakfast warmers weren't warm, French toast and eggs both cold

When you stay on a motel row location, you might as be anywhere. The Monument Inn is located in a quiet area, with trees and lawn, clean rooms, and more local options for meals. The friendliness of the local staff was reflective of the friendliness expected in a small town. Clean pleasant rooms, staff, and easily accessible to whatever you might want or need.

The guy at the front desk. Altough i was an idiot an made the reaervation for a doff time, he helped modify it and was very cool, altough was almost midnight. Cheers to him

Easy to find and great location just off the beaten path. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and smelled amazing. For the price I thought there was an error! I will definitely be staying here again. I recommend the stay.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable but manageable.

This is one of most beautiful rooms I’ve ever stayed in and one of the most reasonable. I came here to ride my bike in the Scotts Bluff National Monument and it is right down the street. Also, restaurants and grocery store in walking distance.

Very comfortable room, clean and quiet. The shower was GREAT!!

The only thing I would recommend is bath mats for the showers. The soft water does make the bathtub floor very slippery.

very nice breakfast, limited, but good. Beds were Great and very comfortable.

Outdoor entrance keyed entry was not working. Ice machine was malfunctioning.
