our room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

the front desk guy was rude. also when my friend went to use the gym there was a guy in there cleaning that she didn’t notice. he was very rude to her and said can’t you see I’m cleaning? no sign on the door saying please wait or anything!! then comes out and rudely tells her he’s finished and it’s ready. I understand it’s hard to find people to work but I’m always nice and I was quite taken aback by the front desk guy being so rude and also the other guy. it costs zero dollars to be nice!!

Oddly enough, one of my favorite things about the room was that there were two sinks! One in the bath, and one just outside the bath. Very convenient for multiple people trying to get ready to go at the same time. We also had very pleasant interactions with all personnel, and we liked the cookies.

The closeness to the main street makes it a little noisy. Not bad, but I did notice big trucks going by during the night.

An excellent choice for a night stopover. The biggest surprise was the breakfast. You couldn't have asked for more and a brilliant way to start off your day. The 'grab bag' travel bags are also a brilliant idea to keep your going during your travels.

The staff at check in were a bit frosty. The breakfast staff were okay and the chaps on check out were fully warmed up and a pleasure to talk to. I have to smile at work sometimes when I don't feel like it. It's not a great deal but might change someone's day.

I thoroughly recommend this hotel. It was a very welcome and comfortable stop on a hot and long journey across the desert. Very pleasant staff, great facilities for a small hotel and just what we needed. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Some fresh fruit at breakfast would have been a great addition - not a complaint, just a suggestion to further improve

Booked this at the last minute and it was really lovely. Pool and hot tub were great, especially in the evening as the pool was heated. Breakfast was brilliant with a fantastic machine to make your own pancakes. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was central with several local eateries. The pizzas across the road were delicious.

The location on the main road through town was very convenient. Room was clean and in building away from road so no street noise but walls are thin so could hear neighbors. Breakfast is a true delight with numerous hot and cold choices

Parking was a little odd; a handful of spaces right out front, more around the entire building, but a huge lot i was initially unaware of. Lot was very well lit. That around the building was not as well lit.

I have to rate all services at Desert-IN as Excellent. I have been making a trip from Reno to Arizonia for the last four years, and always stay at the "high Desert-IN going to and returning from Arizonia. Excellent service, rooms, and food. Every time I make my trip, I always book reservations for the Desert-IN.

We were ending a 2 week vacation and this was the only motel that did not smell of disinfectant. It was very clean, nice room and tv. Many restaurants within walking distance and the breakfast was the best of our trip. by a long way.

I could not find anyone at the front desk several times. I needed change for laundry. Another long term customer said they were here but hide alot.

it was a lovely, clean facility. The breakfast was amazing every morning!

although we enjoyed it very much we will not be staying the next time we visit Tonapah because the price was so ridiculous
