Motel 6-Truth Or Consequences, NM

We stayed here for 2 nights and were quite satisfied with this Motel 6. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable, lighting good. Built in furnishings all in good shape. This was a January trip and the heater worked fine to keep the room comfortable. All plumbing was in good repair.

This is a budget hotel, and the outside reflects that. The siding is a little beat, the entryway, not too inviting. A busy McDonalds is right across the parking lot. I suggest overlooking these things, because once inside the room it is quite satisfactory.

Everyone was very kind. It was clean. And other than a few barks and an alarm (nothing intrusive.) It was nice, peaceful and quiet. The hot water was hot. This is an older motel. And very basic. You get beds, showers, and sleep. Which is exactly what we wanted as most of our time was spent sight seeing & visiting family. The weather was unusually mild for this time of year here, so we didn't need the A.C much, but when we did, it cooled the room quickly and quietly. Our family really enjoyed our stay and will use this motel again in the future.

A little bit of confusion between the booking app and room, but the front desk got it cleared up and fixed.

a bit noisy late in the evening; 9-11pm. The door didn’t seal tight so there was light and noise leaking in around the jam. There was breakfast advertised on the website but obviously not available

The room was clean, the night was quiet in spite of the motel being next to the main road, and the bed was comfortable. That's all we need!

The woman at the front desk is rather grumpy! We can't understand why there is a 17 Dollar difference between booking over the Internet vs. walking in. We are frequent guests and would appreciate the same rate no matter if walk-in or Internet.

If you are looking for a room that has a hair dryer, dresser drawers, a coffee pot, pictures on the wall or a comfortable sofa, look elsewhere. This room was spartan but modern, clean and comfortable at a good price.

The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of room to move around. Our room was conveniently close to the lobby.

We had no refrigerator in our room and the view from our room was stark desert.

No breakfast served, just coffee. TV in room was very small, no refridgerator or microwave available in room which is unusual to us for Motel 6.

The staff was great .. the room was clean and neat 👌

I reserved 2 rooms neither room had icebox or microwave or coffee maker...the one thing I need in the morning 🤔....but its all good the motel was very nice 2nd time staying here....well be back everytime we come to the lake....staff was great and friendly
