the property was very clean, beautiful spot! the cafe staff were very professional and knowledgeable, the food was exquisite! they gave my girlfriend a cake slice on the house. the waiter was perfect on when to check on us and was very friendly. checking in or out was very simple and convenient.

what I didn’t like about the property was that there wasn’t an actual sandy beach access. the parking lot was very tight squeeze. the pool wasn’t heated, not sure if they heat it ever but would have been nice. only was to access bar was at the cafe and you would need reservations. the complimentary bikes could use some WD40 on chains. initially when I arrived the staff didn’t seem too welcoming but later on did make up for it. coffee in morning ran out very fast an extra container with coffee would have been nice.

I’ve chosen this hotel because of its view and location, and I promise you it wont disappoint you. The location is just wonderful. The building is very nice and well distributed, fitting perfectly into the landscape. The rooms are very nicely decorated, with a contemporary beach vibe. The bathroom could use sone renovation, but all in all it was good. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and boh were amazing. Best breakfast I’ve had in the USA during my 14 days road-trip.

Although we booked a room for three, they only prepared it for two people. We only noticed it when we entered the room, cause there was just one king bed and the bed-sofa was closed (as well as the third set of towels was missing). So we went and tell so at the reception, and their first reaction was yo tell us that we could open the bed-sofa ourselves and use the bedsheets left in the closet… we had to insist for them to do it, which I find ridiculous, since we booked and payed for three people. Cleaning was ok, but could have been better. Service at the restaurant is not the fastest: slow for the USA standards, but still totally normal for the European standards. It was fine for me, I enjoy taking my time while on holidays… but if you are in a rush just have this in mind.

Great night's sleep on the comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, the eggs were prepared just as I had asked them to be and the coffee was just right. Maybe also offer choice of grits? Loved the view from the breakfast room.

Dinner, the french fries were so overcooked that I could not even pierce some of them with my fork. The live music was okay during dinner, but it was right below my room and surprisingly loud.

Comfortable space to stay with delicious food on site. I appreciated the use of the full size refrigerator in the common area to store leftovers and milk for my early morning coffee. Staff was friendly and helpful. What a gem. It was cold and rainy when I was there but the space heater in the room kept it toasty. Close to hatteras public beach and lighthouse. Glad I randomly decided to visit OBX and found this place to rest for a few nights.

I liked the view to the Pamlico sound from my room. Great television and despite the high winds that day, did not interrupt service. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast as the French Toast was just fantastic! Would stay here again!

Room had a beautiful view, was very spacious. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Restaurant was right near our room and easy to get to! Staff was very friendly.

Requested a breakfast to go, as we had to leave early in morning before their breakfast hours. Only got a sandwich, one of us is vegan and they didn't ask so that was a bit disappointing.

The view is breathtaking and the breakfast was excellent. For breakfast you’re allowed to order anything from the full menu for only $5 per person.

Our room was a delight ... cozy, quiet and restful even with the 25 knot norwester pounding in against the glass. Food at breakfast was excellent. There are many spaces where one can sit, relax and chill. We wish the weather had been more conducive for this, but that's just all the more reason to visit again which we certainly intend to do.

Service at breakfast was a bit flakey ... essential requests forgotten, and one hates to nag, so it detracted from the experience.

loved the amenitys and staff, the food from on site resturant was phenominal .. 2nd time there and will come back again

movie theater seats wont fit my butt, or wifes.. me n wife unable to take atvantage of theater on the nasty rainy day while there

We stayed in the Periwinkle room. The view was amazing! Every staff member we encounter during our stay was excellent and attentive. The property was beautiful, and we loved that there were kayaks, bikes, etc, available for guest use.
