La Quinta by Wyndham Ada

The front desk staff was very nice and friendly and the guy at the front desk when I checked out was also very nice.

I did not like the noise from the work being done on the first floor and the room was clean but the paint smell was so strong and you can tell that the room was not wiped down before placing a guest in the room after work was done. As a hotel inspector and someone with a cleaning business nothing go unnoticed but other than that the bed was very comfortable and the shower was clean.

The staff was friendly and courteous. They made the stay pleasant. The breakfast was delicious and well stocked. The pool was in good working order and towels were stocked.

The painted wall was really dusty. The bed linens needed to be upgraded including the bed pads and blankets. The room needed a deep cleaning to include the corners. The tub needed repainted. I paid $135 a night and expected a better than average room.

The property was pretty clean, the staff were nice, and the breakfast was fun for my kids.

There were a couple of cracks that appeared to be foundational, in the room. Large crack around the AC, and above the ceiling area by the clothes rack. The AC was also dusty, which was slightly concerning because my immune system is weak.

Room is nice, along with being a nice larger room. Bed is super comfortable. Full hot breakfast.

They charge a $100.00 deposit even though I paid with a credit card not a debt card. Booked a room with a sofa, had no sofa. I had to call to find out if I wanted a executive or deluxe room so I would know what type of room to book

Our room was nice and seemed roomy. The bed was comfortable and there different thicknesses of pillows on the bed to choose from. Also, I appreciated they had a guide that listed the channels you could get on the TV. The breakfast area was pleasant.

Since we are still in the COVID mode there was no hot breakfast. However, there were still items to eat and even some things you could heat up in the microwave. The coffee was weak for my tastes, but it was fine. None of this was a dealbreaker. I would stay there again.

Everything was good except they have a new 100.00 deposit agreement that I wasn't aware of I've stayed here before but wasn't charged a deposit my husband works down here weekly so his company stays here as well but wasn't expecting the 100.00 deposit but the front desk lady worked with me and let me pay half upfront and half after my husband got off

The unexpected 100.00 deposit

I arrived Friday at 1:30 and met the girl that always checks me in. She is very nice, professional, and gets me checked in quickly. The room was clean and comfortable. The property is quiet.

The pool was really dirty this time - lots of bugs and debris. The bathroom door in my room didn't close well. And I'm not sure who chose the child-size vanities, but they're terrible.

Room was clean and close to the elevator. TV and other appliances were in working order. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was OK, Sausage did not taste as it should.

Bathroom needed more lighting for the shower.

The staff was very nice and meet our needs. We were with a college baseball team. We had booked two nights stay and due to weather the evening we had arrived, we didn’t need the second evening. So they worked with Booking.com to cancel our second night. I’m waiting for refund now, but it looks promising with emails I’ve received. They were very nice and understood our problem. I love the La Quinta hotels everywhere we travel for baseball.
