Motel 6-Baker City, OR

Nice quiet room, the motel is easy to get to and has plenty of well lit parking space. Bringing my dog was no problem and the stairs to the second floor are non slip which may sound like a small thing but really makes it easy for our dog to get up. The motel also has two large pieces of grass for dogs to do their thing.

The TV signal wasn't quite clear enough to enjoy it but with the wifi was fast enough to stream just about anything. Would have loved to see a small fridge in the room on the next visit.

3 seniors on a long trip. My elderly parent loved the handicapped wheelchair assessable bathroom and was able to use it with ease. Not only was the room EXCEPTIONAL and SUPER CLEAN, it came with a handicapped shower. We stayed in 6 motels on our trip and this motel was far and away the very best, friendly, welcoming customer service. When we come through town again we will be staying here again. It was a pleasure and a very safe place. Thank you for the great night's rest!

There was nothing to dislike at all.

10/10. First time staying in a Motel 6. Picked it based on previous reviews. Pleasantly surprised that it was so nice and clean. Situated 2 blocks from hwy, no drive by traffic. Perfectly clean inside and out. No bad smells of cigarettes, cleaning fluids, must or mold. Super friendly staff at check-in. Little mini golf area for kids and I think a picknic table outside. I would stay here again and add Motel 6 to my list of motels I will stay at.

My room was on the bottom floor and I didn't have to climb any stairs with my bad hip.

The second room requested to be near my room was on the opposite end of the motel and was on the top floor. This was inconvenient due to this room was for a family with two 9-month old infants. This reservation was made in January....five months before the rooms were needed, and we still didn't get what was requested.

Clean and comfortable room in a convenient location, with a dog park just minutes away for my ball-chasing companion. Desk clerk recommended a restaurant that although not great looking, served excellent food served by friendly staff, at a reasonable price.

Motel 6s are no frills and i knew that going in, so had no expectations of breakfast, coffee maker, toiletries etc. The only thing i didnt like, being age 70, was lugging my stuff up to the second floor where all but one of the rooms at the rate i booked were located. At that point (checkin), cancellation wasnt an option due to online booking policies.

My son had brought his PlayStation when we tried to hook it up we discovered the TV remote that comes in the room does not let you switch input on the TV. I went and asked the manager if he knew how to do this and he told me there was no way around it the remotes don’t have the option for that. My son was very upset. A couple minutes later the manager knocked on the door and offered his personal remote for his TV that would let you change the input. He saved my weekend I really appreciated that.

Very convenient to the interstate Hwy. Quick & easy access.... Basic but very clean room with Laminate floors throughout. Room was very quiet. Bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding and pillows. Good quality towels. All in all excellent value for the price. A typical, no-frills Motel 6. Very clean and well managed!

It’s a very basic motel. If you’re looking for anything more, go somewhere else. We needed a place to sleep after being out in the heat all day. We checked in around 3:00 (the guy was super nice!) but didn’t actually go in our room until like 10:00pm. I was so scared that the AC wouldn’t be on (most places have it off when you get there), but we walked into a wonderfully cool room! The room has a desk and chair, a dresser and TV, 2 nightstands, a comfy bed, and another hardback chair. That’s it. The first thing we noticed is the no weird hotel/motel smell. It smelled clean! It’s hardwood floors so you don’t have to wonder what’s in the carpet. The bathroom was spotless. The place seemed to be full, but we never heard anyone above us or beside us. When we left in the morning, one of the housekeepers were outside and she was so friendly and personable. My son lives in Baker and I will definitely be using this place whenever I come to town.

There was no shampoo/conditioner and for the first time, I forgot mine!

Comfortable, well appointed, clean, spacious. Excellent receptionist-helpful and friendly. Good value for money. Quiet location with a reasonable view.

No coffee making facility in the room, nor a fridge. (Good coffee from reception.) A little distant from restaurants.

I booked online from my Reno Hotel and I had problems but the staff made sure I had a room and that there was only one charge. They did a great job assisting me. I loved it that the motel was affordable, close to the freeway and easy to get into town. Thank you so much.
