Hampton Inn Sumter

The breakfast was awesome and Mary made it exceptional, the way she helped me make my waffles come out perfect. she is a diamond to that hotel. I also liked Carrie at the reception desk and was very helpful to me when I had a problem. I would also like to mention Denise who cleaned up my room after i had a accident in there and she was very comforting.

The only thing I was upset about was when we came back from out shopping in a hot sticky day to a room that was not turned down and the room smelled and was a bit pissed. My husband said not to blame the workers cause its not their fault it comes from higher up : that they go where they are told to go.

Victoria was a very attentive front desk associate. She was helpful every evening and made our stay at Hampton Inn very pleasant. We had breakfast one morning during our stay (Saturday) & the choices were great. We will definitely stay at the Hampton Inn when we return to Sumter. Also, they have new mattresses and we slept great!

Hotel room could have smelled better, but it was clean, so I sprayed Lysol.

OH MY WHERE DO I BEGIN.. WHEN ARRIVING I MET THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN NAME MS. CHRISTIE WHICH IS THE MANAGER. SHE WAS SO GENTLE, SO UNDERSTANDING, SO POLITE, AND SO HELPFUL THAT SHE EVEN NOT ONLY WELCOME ME TO MOVING TO SUMTER. BUT SHE HAS OFFERED ME TO WORK WITH HER AS WELL. I THOUGHT THAT WAS SUCH A BLESSING. OUR ROOM WAS SO CLEAN, IT SMELLED NICE, AND FRESH, THE BEDS WAS NICE, CLEAN, AND SO SOFT, AND COMFORTABLE, TO WHERE MY HUSBAND, AND MY SON DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE LOL... THE BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS, NICE AND HOT. THEY HAD BACON, SAUSAGES, BISCUITS WITH THIS DELICIOUS TASTY GRAVY WHICH 1ST TIME FOR MY HUSBAND, AND MYSELF AND WE LOVE IT. HOT EGGS, DANISHES. MUFFINS, COLD CEREAL, BOIL EGGS, WAFFLES, MUFFINS, TOAST, FRUIT, FRUIT BOWLS, APPLE JUICE, ORANGE JUICE, HOT FRESH COFFEE EVERYDAY, HOT CHOCOLATE, HOT TEA, LEMON ICE WATER, OH MY GOD. MS MARY THAT SERVERS WITH LOVE. SHE ASKS YOU WHAT ALL YOU WANT AND SHE SERVES YOU WITH LOVE. SHE ASKS YOU IF EVERYTHING IN YOUR ROOM IS TO OUR SATISFACTION. SHE ASKS YOU HOW IS YOUR STAY SO FAR. SHE IS THE BEST AS WELL. MS. CHRISTIE, AND MS. MARY I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU BOTH FOR YOUR WARM HOSPITALITY, AND MAKING OUR STAY WONDERFUL. I WILL BE BACK, AND I WILL TELL AS MUCH AS I CAN THAT IF THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A DECENT, VERY CLEAN, HOT BREAKFAST,, AND A RELAXING PLACE TO SLEEP COMFORTABLY. Only that we had to and or left with going elsewhere for Breakfast, that shouldn’t be for the quality of the Hotel it’s location just minutes from the beach, in that location Patrons at the property shouldn’t have to go somewhere other than the property for a full Breakfast to visitors which that’s one of the first things people look for, an when we’re Booking that’s one of the reasons why those Hotels are chosen, we didn’t want to have to elsewhere to eat Breakfast we wanted to enjoy the fullness of the Experience at the Hotel for us as well as when our friends ask where should they stay when looking to come to Myrtle Beach if your looking for quality easy access the quietest one of the quietest roomy Hotels we’ve stayed in

It wasn't explained that we would get anyone to check on the room to see if we needed towels, TP and soap.

Staff was very nice and friendly. Megan was helpful with anything extra we needed during our stay. Hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable. Will definitely book here again on our next trip.

I assumed Covid protocol meant no staff would enter your room during your stay. Housekeeping did come in with fresh towels and a quick wipe down while we were out. This wasn’t a problem and this is not a complaint I was just surprised

All the rooms I stayed in were great. But My room this trip was the BEST one I stayed in since visiting several times. Manager Christie and Chauncey at the Sumter location ALWAYS make me feel welcome and accommodates me with ALL my requests 😊 I ❤ this hotel, everything is convenient and affordable.
