Ramkota Hotel - Pierre

Great food! Shout out to our server Jess. She was kind enough to give me one of her water enhancers ( watermelon)yum.Service fantastic from Jess and Trista! Trista made check in a breeze! The pool and hot tub were AMAZING and clean. Breakfast had alot of nice options. The rooms were spotless ,beds super comfortable and great water pressure for showers!!And they are pet friendly to! This will be our hotel moving forward, anytime we make a trek to Deadwood. This is an older hotel. So don't expect the "Ritz" but they are doing upgrades. These will take them some time. But you can tell everyone that works there ,cares! Says alot about this company.

We stayed here on May 12th 2023 ( not the 16th ,the 16th is when we got back home and i wrote this review) We LOVED everything about this place. Look forward to going back. And seeing what new upgrades they have done!

We arrived quite late. The front desk clerk showed us sympathy by offering an upgraded room on the main floor, so we wouldn't need to take the stairs with our bags. Very nice older establishment that has been pretty-well maintained. Seems like a business conference/event center. They are in the process of some updating and improving parking areas. Nice big restaurant. Overall, I would stay here again.

Never fond of being near vending and ice dispensing machines. But not the end of the world!

We chose the hotel for the hot tub and pool. We knew it was going to be closed the next day for renovations but when we got there the hot tub was closed. Talk to three different people with 3 different answers on the situation.

We also stayed here so we didn’t have to venture out to find food and drinks. We walked to the bar for dinner to find out bartender didn’t show up so no dinner or drinks there. So out in the cold we went.

Staff was helpful and accommodating and the room was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the on-site restaurant and bar after a long day's travel (fish tacos were excellent); the fresh drinking water dispenser at the front desk; and being able to make my own waffle at breakfast bar.

Mattress a bit soft for my taste.

Loved the location so close to the Missouri River walk. Liked being able to walk to restaurants. The staff was very accommodating, friendly yet professional. It was very clean. We would definitely stay there again.

Not sure. I did find some some very small pieces of a black material in my cup from the lobby coffee machine. That might need to get looked at.

Staff was nice, food at bar was great.

My room had two entrances. One never worked with the key, and I had to have my keys replaced three times. The room had a constant electronic squeal, (I believe from the room (locled0 next to mine) fortunate for me I am unable to hear anything with me hearing devices removed. Breakfast was a joke,

the train that goes by during the night you should forewarn your guests I was sleeping really good when the train went by. it scared me so bad that I sat right up in bed before I realized what it was; and unfortunately it took me a while to fall back asleep

Very spacious room and we'll laid out with desk and chair, over stuffed chair and loveseat; good accurate air/heat. Nice location by river, and not so busy part of town. Laundry room to use, walk to Italian restaurant; tasteful wallpaper, separate vanity, mini kitchen.

No elevator for preferred room on 2nd floor. Could not check in at 2, despite few customers and multitude of rooms. We appeared to be an inconvenience to woman at desk. Rakota added $30. to total for one night, in Case we ate at restaurant, which was closed. Said they remove it on final bill, but we left with it still pending. No provided coffee in lobby, only sit down breakfast.

Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. Amazingly clean for a Pierre hotel.

Resort fee? Service was great for Pierre, but standards in this city are undeniable low. Gouged by hunting season pricing.

Location, pool

Pay the asking rate because of the offered continental breakfast. Breakfast was only served 1 of the mornings of my stay with no discount offered.
