Awoke on Sunday AM at 5:30-6 of noises outside of room (moving about/dragging sounds). Hotel was essentially empty so presume it was staff but cannot confirm it was not another guest. No protein in breakfast (sausage/eggs/etc) - staff mentioned manager was vegan but South Dakota is farmers/ranchers. Seemed rather odd.

The room rate was ridiculous!! I travel and stay in that area for work quite a bit. It was the highest rate I've paid anywhere in at least three years. I will not stay there again.

The best part of the rooms was the art above the beds! The staff was great. Everyone (front desk & cleaning crew) was accommodating and friendly. The location was good. We were close to the baseball field and town.
This property is very tired (beds, sofa, chairs, décor). I paid extra for a suite and it was not so sweet. It was the same as the other room we had with a sofa instead of the extra bed. The sofa wasn't a pullout and was in bad shape. We thought the beds were supposed to be queen size but seemed more like a full/double and sagged in the middle. We had the A/C on in both of our rooms. The good news is that it kept the rooms nice and cool. The bad news is that it made the rooms smell musty. The other big issue is that the side doors remain unlocked all day/night so it's easy for any non-guest to enter the motel.
