Baymont by Wyndham Big Spring

The hotel was easy to find, the staff very pleasant and directed us to a really good place for dinner. The room was very clean, had a wonderful mattress and good television. The window coverings are exceptional, blocking nearly all light and do not interfere with air flow..attractive too. The breakfast was better than usual, with biscuits and gravy, cheese omelet, good bacon, very good, fresh tasting packaged pastries and make your own waffles. The breakfast blend coffee was very satisfying and grab n go items are available. There were many cars outside, but no noise inside.

Our reservation was for ADA king suite. There was no ADA, except a wide bathroom door. Low toilet and no assist bars whatsoever. The hotel does not provide facial tissues and there is no hanging space for clothing. Apparently, the armoire type piece in the kitchenette area, had an opening that might be used, but there is no bar for hangers. The deadbolt did not work. The striker plate was not installed correctly.

Staff was absolutely amazing and so friendly - I really appreciate that! Room had a good size and TV was great. The room came with a fridge and a microwave.

The breakfast was decent but could have been better (e.g.: no toaster for bagel). The room was a little outdated but this didn't impact the comfort.

Comfortable beds, clean, quiet and location as well as area were great

Upon check in I saw the front desk receptionist and I greeted her with a “hello how are you this evening? My name is XXXXX I have A reservation” she had no reply at all. Except to say she didn’t see my reservations and commented as to whether or not I was sure I made it at that location. I asked if their were other baymont hotels in town she said no not baymont but several Wyndham properties. I assured her it was baymont hotel. Approximately 30 min later I got my room. I said I hope your evening gets better and absolutely no reply period. So I’m certain when my husband came in she heard me comment to him that she was about the worst choice a hotel could have chosen to greet their guest

Very clean, comfortable beds,and pleasant surroundings.

Nothing except for the desk clerk. Arrived at about 5 pm. Desk clerk was in the back. When she came out there was no “Welcome to Baymont Inn!”, no enthusiasm at at all. She was just here filling a square. After paying, there was no “Enjoy your stay” or “Have a good evening”. She mumbled something like “That’s all. You can go now”. She is NOT someone you’d want to greet guests and make a good first impression. I would recommend a second chair be put in the room.

Everything was ok. I was expecting a little more options by what the picture showed. but it was ok and prepared well.

some of the Lobby area needed attention. There was no guest RR in the lobby it was only for staff.

Good Location. Basic but clean. Elevator needs work. Makes jolt and loud noises. Breakfast was okay but the price is high for basic.

Elevator was a bit concerning and when we asked who has the maintenance records the staff said they had no idea.

It was clean, and the bed was comfortable

It was noisy. The door didn’t seal well. Lots of hallway noise coming through it. My room was in a bad location. Near an outside exit. I heard that door close dozens of times during night.

Nice room. Comfortable bed. Location was good for my travels.

I did not like the pillows! They are too small, almost like throw pillows, and they are lumpy.

The facility was very modernized well kept up had all the amenities that I needed. If I had forgotten any they would have provided it. The beds were amazing, rooms were clean, and Wi-Fi was excellent. When my employees or I am in the Big Springs area this is where we will be staying.

It would have been really nice if we would have got to spend more time at this location and stay longer at this facility. Thank you very much for all the hospitality.

We’re willing to give me the room rate at the same price as Booking. Very friendly people. Breakfast was nice. AC was cold. Loved it!

Grass needed mowing, could have dog poop bags available. They gave me ice bags, at least.
