La Quinta by Wyndham Columbus TX

It's a pleasant, comfortable place to stay. The staff is nice. We always enjoy the refrigerator in the room.

The bathroom is starting to look a bit worn, especially the tub fixtures. The elevator is really slow. And I don't know what they are using to clean the room but I hated the smell. Next time I'll bring a big bottle of Febreez and potpourri.

I didn’t ask for a quiet room, we asked for the first floor because of our 2 dogs. But, the room we got on the 3rd floor was quiet, super spacious, clean and I loved the art/pics on the wall. I’ll be staying at LabQuinta from this point forward. The steak house across the street was also delicious and convenient! The only thing that could make LaQuinta better (which is already a 10 out of 10) would be to offer pet parents free stays or refundable pet deposits if they leave the room in clean/unmanaged condition. Or, free pet stays for life after 3 or 4 days at any LaQuinta.

Breakfast was impressive for it's type. Got there at 9:00 a.m. and there was still plenty of food but no syrup the first day, second day all okay. Pancake machine was popular with everyone, good pancakes.

I think someone didn't have time to rinse out the bathtub, settlement in the bottom. A little noisy at times, voices, overhead footsteps.

At walk in the lobby area was very clean and check in was smooth with no issues. The room was clean, spacious, clean bathroom, and AC worked properly quickly cooling the room. The indoor pool was open and clean which was a plus. The staff was great and helpful. Breakfast was great! They have a variety of items to choose from. It was pet friendly as well.

Nothing. This was overall a great area and hotel.

Very comfortable room, amenities and property layout. Shiny tile floors on the lobby level gave excellent impression.

TV cable was down for the 2 days we stayed. A smart TV would have allowed us to access entertainment, but no smart TV. The breakfast attendant was not well trained. There was cold gravy for biscuits and the items were not well stocked in a timely manner. This attendant was however very polite and friendly. The second day the breakfast was well stocked and good quality. The same breakfast attendant was doing a much much improved job. The first morning could have just been a fluke. Hotel adjusted rate for the TV being out.

Great location, it is far enough from I10 so that you don’t hear the traffic all night. There several restaurants nearby which is great after a long day of driving. The breakfast was decent, eggs and sausage were actually hot.

The breakfast could have had more choices but other than that I have no complaints.

I was stuck in the winter snow storm while traveling from Florida. I ended up staying 5days. The staff was absolutely amazing. Electricity would go off and on, all nearby restaurants were closed. The Hotel made sure all guests were safe. They provided 3 Hot meals a day at no charge to all guests and the food was delicious. Thank you to everyone for a great stay.

The breakfast was the same every day. It would be nice to switch up the hot breakfast (scrambled eggs and sausage was the same every day).

The convenient location. Facility was clean & comfortable. Night shift clerk wasn't friendly, but maybe had a rough day.

Breakfast hours could be a tad bit longer on weekends.

hot tub was broken, they are charging $3 for a bottle of water or a candy bar. no vending machines
