Red Roof Inn Dumas

People were nice. Room was clean and smelled clean. Bed was comfortable.TV. We were near stairs so although no elevator a little easier to take dog out.

Outside area where we walked around with dogs was run down. No elevator. The only chair in room was hard for my husband to sit in. He has a bad back and can't sit on bed and watch tv.

Dinise was the most helpful, wonderful & caring staff member that we have met. She went above and beyond to give us the best room & she was so cheerful, just a pleasure to be around !! Our room was a king & extremely clean, large & comfortable. There was an iron & ironing board, mini fridge, microwave, large flat screen tv, excellent air conditioning, desk with a nice chair & a sofa. The bathroom was extraordinary clean & had a very large vanity with a really cool sink. The breakfast had a very nice assortment to choose from, including waffles.

The pool is closed & we were told that it will not be reopened.

There were definitely some oddities in our hotel room - the bathroom didn’t lock, the sink handle was backwards (hot was cold; cold was hot), and the shower was weirdly narrow. But, all in all, I’m very pleased with the facilities for the price we paid. With taxes and all, our weeknight stay came to just over $90, and I don’t think we could’ve found a nicer place for that price anywhere. The bed was firm and supportive but not hard, and there was a decent number of plugs close to each side of the bed.

It was a bit noisy, but that mostly quieted down around 10pm when people started going to bed. The comforter was VERY warm for Texas summer, and the air conditioner was loud but not terribly effective. My husband and I spent most of the night just under the sheet because of this.

Room was good. Bed very comfortable. Quiet. Good value for the cost.

Breakfast was pretty meager. Only hot option was a waffle maker. On the drink machine, orange and cranberry juice was out of service. Apple juice looked like water. Some yogurts. A few pre packaged pastries. Several fast food places close for breakfast.

We were greeted by Dinise. She was such a ray of sunshine! After being on the road all day traveling with our German Shepard, we were exhausted. Dinise made our long day of travel go away just by her smile and great spirit. And she told us about an amazing Mexican food restaurant near the Inn. If you like Mexican food you must try The Plaza Restaurant The room was pleasant and clean, and doggie approved. Breakfast is great. The staff throughout the Inn were all delightful. We will be back when traveling through Dumas!

Breakfast was great, plenty of options and tasted good. Felt the hotel was a great value. It was conveniently located for cross-Texas travel, close to major highways. Room was clean and pleasant enough. Staff was friendly.

Due to the construction going on outside on the road that blocks off the front entrance, it would have been helpful to have a note from the hotel telling patrons how to access the property.

I didn't care for the breakfast. The quality of the food could definitely use some improvement.

The easy access on/off highway. The staff was friendly and helpful with some local recommendations. Room was clean and as described. It was quiet even tho on highway, never heard the traffic. We stayed 1 night passing through to Colorado. Didn’t eat breakfast.

The front desk person was very friendly and the room was very clean and quiet.

the bed was a little hard for our tastes. At breakfast, the sausage was gone quickly but was never replenished. The juice machine was empty so none of the juices were available.
