Riata Inn - Presidio0

The room was "Texas sized" ... you know ... everything is bigger in Texas ;-) at about 350 s/f it's much larger than the average room. Check in was great, pool very nice. There is a covienence store / gas station very close by.

The hotel is located just off of a fairly major secondary road, but the vehicle noise is not too bad. I if you are sensitve to noise I'd recommend you ask for a room closer to the back of the hotel. The left side of the hotel (looking at it from the front) gets less afternoon sun so will be easier to air condition. No complaints on the AC the unit is also Texas sized.

Had the best night's sleep so far on this trip - combination of comfortable bed and good air temperature/ bed coverings. Good location to head north to Carlsbad. Good size room. Plenty of toiletries provided.

No tea and coffee in the bedroom - just in reception. Slightly tired feel and bathroom behind the door could be better cleaned. No restaurant in walking distance but microwave and fridge in room.

We really liked the ice machine in the lobby. The food truck in the parking lot was also a bonus! I highly recommend eating there.

I felt that the amenities could have been a bit better. Although we basically only slept and showered at the hotel, I didn't find that the lobby had much to offer besides the ice machine.

The room was very spacious. There was a desk and a chair in addition to a small table and 2 chairs. There was also a mini fridge and microwave. There were many charging points by the beds which was convenient. The sink area was very spacious and outside the bathroom which was nice. The beds were comfy, shower pressure was great, the towels were fluffy. The location is close to small restaurants. Presidio is a small place so Riata inn was very convenient. I would highly recommend for anyone traveling to Big Bend NP or Big Bend State Ranch park.

Good location. Comfortable beds in a spacious, clean room. It has a very popular food truck in front of the hotel. We enjoyed sitting at the pool area to watch the sunset over Presidio’s sister city, Ojinago.

The hotel sits on a nice quiet spot away from the city and that made our stay restful. We slept very well.

There was dust on furniture and some items were broken in the room. We were careful not to worsen the conditions of the desk chair and clothes hanging support, but they should repaired or replaced. Beds are very noisy, but luckily no one was noisy during our stay. The door at the office was locked when we came to check in. The pool was not working yet.

Everything in the room is fresh, CLEAN, good people, television for news weather and movies. Very nice. Of course anybody would say that the price could come down a little bit but that is everywhere.

I had to leave. I if had the time and funds I would camp out here for a week just to relax.

Cleanness, comfortable bed, quite air conditioner, and size of the room.

The front office still not open by the time we left at 8:45 in morning because we tried to return the keys. We wanted some ice, but were told that there was no ice because the ice machine was broken.

What I liked most about this motel was the size of my room. It had one king sized bed, the room was super clean. When I walked in, I knew I'd sleep well after a long drive. The bed is comfortable, fresh towels and plenty of room in the bathroom. The location is perfect on the north side of town. Easy to find, great parking. When I wanted to leave and head north, I didn't have to drive through town. Check in was quick with covid-19 safety. The room was perfect to repack, and prepare all my gear for another day.

The cost was a bit more than I wanted to pay.
